I didn't notice Arbok or Ekans for quite a while either. I think that Wubbuffet's pun was unintentional. It was supposed to play on the word buffet, meaning to hit repeatedly, and not the restaurant type.

Just because something has a type advantage doesn't mean at all that it'll win. Emolga's Electric attacks are powerful and it'd easily outspeed a horribly slow Cryogonal; it could escape its attacks with ease before unleashing a powerful Electric attack from afar. x3

I just want to warn you that this is probably one of those puns that gets terrible overused, but my friend and I used to have this little joke about the the Pokemon Wobbuffet. He would call it the Wobbuffet (like the all you can eat kind) and act like it was a restaraunt. But there was some anime episode (I don't watch it, but we caught it on) where they were all chasing around Jessie's Wobbuffet, and he made a joke about how they were all trying to race to eat at the Wobbuffet.

Well he knows I RP, and so he suggested that I make an RP about the Wobbuffet. And so I took his idea and decided, what if the Wobbuffet got stolen and a group of kids raced around the region trying to get to the Wobbuffet. That terrible enough for you?

I like the atmosphere here too. There are a lot of friendly people, which is good in my book.

Well if anyone was interested I might start a co-owned RP, but right now I still need to kick of what I've got.

Ahah, I don't mind Emolga fighting Ice types, it's an agile Pokemon y'know x] And Emolga isn't exactly weak; it could definitely hold its own against an Ice type. Especially one as slow as Cryogonal :3

I was thinking more in general really. Is it just today, or do you intend to spend a lot of time on PC? That's more what I was wondering. I've been stuck at home for the entirety of the summer, and so I've spent more time online then is probably healthy. That's not to say I've not gotten a thing done all summer, but I have been very very bored.

Oh I know. Today has been horribly slow for some reason. I've gotten a whole bunch of VMs, but not a lot of RPing has been done. Maybe I'll make an adventure RP or something, and it'll only have a few people, and move along quite quickly. That suit your fancy? Of course it would be a while before I developed a good plot, but nevertheless, it's good to know if anyone would be interested.

Also I have another person who I'm sure will want to post whenever he gets on, though I can never predict when that'll be. He has odd hours.

I had expected more posts now too, but the also I can understand why it might be hard to get started, what with the partners and all. I just want everyone on the island right now, though.

I have plans for what's going to go on during Night 1, and obviously the main plot's going to start on Day 2, when the tournament actually starts.

So we'll post a couple more times each individually in the thread before we post the joint one, but there's no harm in preparing it now :D Whatcha think? 'cos really we don't need to make it a joint post until we're doing something together like battling. When we're meeting each other that can still be single posts tbh :3

Yeah, I think I'll play around with some styles x] I was just worrying about making it too much speech or too much thinking from the character, but seems like that was the complete wrong thing to do haha. I think it'll be easier now that we can interact though :D Just need to wait for another poster first.

I kinda wish we could have a practice battle though; our teams would be really interesting to put against each other. :3 I might go suggest we add a practice arena or something to the building.

Well right now I really just need everyone to post. I can't do a single thing plot-wise until all of you are on the island. Sign ups took a long time too, so I'm not sure how many people have been regularly checking back. It could be a while.

The island is actually supposed to be small, and while I would give you all some mindless entertainment in that respect, a village really would conflict with the plot. There are already audience members there, and once the vendors are all set up it'll be like a little makeshift community anyways. And if what I have planned turns out right the plot will be a pretty big deal.

What you're really supposed to do is interact with each other, but your partner says he wants someone else to post before he does. And remember, I'm the GM, not a player character.

And trust me, you'll have a lot to do once battles start, anyways.
