Hahah. No, they're not to stop evolution. Well, they are, but not in my case.
They are used in breeding to pass down the parent's nature. For example, if you have an Adamant Blaziken and give him/her an everstone (it depends on the generation you're doing it), the chances are that 50% of the offspring will inherit the nature.
That is well known, so I guess your main quesiton whas why I wanted that many... it's just that I hate roaming through the PC boxes trying to remember who has my everstone, so I want to prevent that.
If you have some spare ones, I'd take them gratefully.

Oh ok, so, there are good possibilities that Dragonite is legit! Yeah, you are right, pokemons are more strong if they train in the wild. They receive the respective points from the pokemons they kill, ie killing four Patrats in a row is equal to 1 point up in the attack stat and so. I use the candies as help, to have a view of how the pokemon will grow and the possible train direction. I wait to reach a high level and be ready to train having as base a prediction. We need to schedule a trade time, I can try from my house tomorrow afternoon, my wireless works fine with specifics wireless, I think it is all about luck.

I won't be available for trade until tomorrow afternoon. Somewhere between 3:30 and 5:00est would be easiest, but I can do it in the evening too.
