I hear what you're saying, and I understand where you're coming from, but what I said still stands. PokéCommunity is huge. Emulation/ROM Hacking generally get's a lot (a LOT) of members, and it's been established that a certain level of strictness is just plain necessary. That's something that can be said for pretty much any forum, though- but anyway...
I know that a forum being 'all business, all work, no jokes, no fun' sucks. And I don't think that's really the case with Emulation. I'm all good with actual lighthearted discussion in any area of Emulation, but as has happened waaaaaaaaay more often than not, it goes beyond that and then we have to step in for a big ol' cleanup of the stuff that had nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Your post, alienhunterx's posts and Ash493's posts were largely off topic- that and it sparked from alienhunterx taking a dig at Ash493 (however sincere it was, I don't know).
All in all, if I'm not mistaken (and I'm quite certain that I'm not), I've had to step in and delete some of your posts (along with Ash493's and alienhunterx's, though in slightly different contexts), and that's why I felt the need to post that warning. Moderating posts and threads is what I'm supposed to do here, but if people keep doing the same thing when I've advised otherwise (again, I'm certain I've deleted posts by you guys for similar reasons) then I'm going to have to take slightly stricter action, hence the warning.
tldr; I understand and agree that a forum doesn't have to be run extremely crazily strictly, and I like to think that I've been a reasonably fair mod in the past two years, but there needs to be a limit at some point, and I stand by that.
