Because Celebi is associated with Gold and Silver...just look at the GS ball' name and is green which could be based off the line of how the Aztecs valued Jade more than Gold and Silver and could lead to RSE as it's a precious stone rather than crystal being a more generic term...also by picking Suicune they made it more important than either Entei and Raikou...I would've perfered Raikou too over Suicune...Pokemon Cintrine.

Just to show you what my DS says. I have others of other Pokemon with different ribbons. I didn't even know Wishing and Souvenir Ribbons didn't allow GTS. I'm guessing all event Ribbons won't allow GTS now since I have two that weren't listed before.

Xander's right, the ribbons he mentioned don't allow the Pokémon that have them to be traded. I know because I tested it out with several of mine before. Maybe as Xander said they were hacked? I also raised the point about the ribbons earlier in the thread btw.

I think that is the phrase that is put onto them when they are transferred twice. I think that only appears when you send a Pokemon from a third Gen game to a fourth gen game then to the fifth gen. I'll look it up on Bulba but I think that is what that phrase is for.

I just tried my new Dialga with Souvineir Ribbon and my Meloetta with a Wishing Ribbon and both gave the warning that they cannot be traded due to having special ribbons.

Just did my Celebi with a Classic Ribbon, said I cannot trade her cause she has a special ribbon.

Where does your Arceus say it is from?

If its a fifth Gen Arceus, then it doesn't have a classic ribbon, that one was from the Global link if I remember correctly, and I did initially forget about that one, but either way since it doesn't have a classic ribbon it was trade-able. If its from the fourth gen more or likely its a fake because all arceus from that time on the GTS were fake. The only 4th Gen Arceus that can be traded is one caught using the Azure Flute which was never distributed. All others have the Classic Ribbon which is coded to not allow GTS access.

If you have any that weren't Global Link Download releases that are supposed to be Classic Ribbon locked then they are all Hacked Pokemon.

Please check them again cause no, your pretty much wrong about Classic Ribbon.

Even the site that makes and redistributes Fake Pokemon slap a Classic Ribbon on them to prevent them from being redistributed through GTS. The Ribbon itself is coded not to allow Pokemon with it onto the GTS and the GTS system will flag the Pokemon and give an error message when you try to send them off.

Sites like Pokegen give those ribbons so you cannot put them on the real GTS.

That reminds me of the beta for Red where there was another male character along with Red and Leaf (the girl character) but never made it to the final version.

I searched it up and according to one source it does look similar to an Asian dragon only it says that a Mediterranean dragon lacks wings...which Lugia has...do they lack wings?

You know...how will you explain the paradox of Unova having changed but Kanto still being it's Gen 1 self? If the Unova games, especially B2W2 take place years after Sinnoh and Johto's stories where Kanto has already changed?
