The Ming Dynasty was pretty bad past the first half of their rule.

The crashing etc is much better once you update it to the final patch. That is, if you are planning to buy it (but I do not recommend that course of action). If you do buy it, Steam will automatically update the game for you (in order to install the game you must install steam as well).
