  • You need to make a 2 variables called NPC X, and NPC Y. Then have a parallel common event that sets the variables equal to the X and Y map value of the NPC.
    Your not bothering me man.
I approved your new thread in the game showcase section and I'll lock the old thread now.
you are a yugioh game devoloper right do you know any other person who has made a yugioh battle system
Thanks for the comment. Don't worry about double posting in your game thread btw. It had been 3/4 days and you did post a good amount of screenshots. Good luck with the game. I'm always in support of RM2k3 games ha.
I don't have the file any more man. It was deleted when my computer crashed. I only backed up Protectors, so I lost all 3 of my old games.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean.
If you want to display attacks, use pictures. It means making a pic of every attack name. It's horribly long to do, but worth it rather then doing the choice system.

If you want the pokemon to use the move, what you do is, have 5 variables. Well 4 for each pokemon (attack slot1, attack slot 2 and so on)- then have a variable called "move selected"- set the value of the "move selected" equal to the attack value the player picks.
Then have conditional branches for the attacks all under the move selected variable. Again it will mean like- 400 conditional branches- but there is no other way if you want it to look right.
To do pokemon switching, if your using variables to store the pokemon, have "copy variables". So if you have "Pokemon slot 1"- also make "Pokemon Slot1**" or "Pokemon SLot1_C"- so you know its the copy. Then when making the switching code, save the variable of the pokemon in the first slot to "PokemonSlot1**" put the pokemon it's switching with variables in slot1- then put the "PokemonSlot1**" values into the slot the pokemon was switching with.
Thanks! and well I am working on a game in RM2K3

Uhh...yeah. I responded to you on my game (Amaretto, Black and White), you can be one of the (two) mappers, even if it isn't that big a game.
