  • Yes, that was indeed me. I've been reading stuff in English actively for only about half a year or so, and thus have problems with some structures and vocabulary. You can imagine how challenging it is for me to read that accent  but I manage well enough. It just takes a bit more time.

There's also the upside that by reading something like that, I also learn to read something like that. Just that not everyone is as motivated as I am. So, I wanted to point it out to you. But I understand it was a good thing, no?

By the way, if I may ask, where in the English-speaking world do you live? I'm just curious about the time difference, that's all...
    Awrighty.
I do have the bad habit of being extremely curious and thus finding out all the facts and plot summaries I can for a certain series - if provoked - but I don't feel like doing that right now. I might do it later on. After all, my boyfriend would like to get the whole anime of Hellsing from somewhere and watch it, but I haven't been quite as enthusiastic about that. Maybe it would be fair towards him to find out what the series is about. I dunno.
Hmm. But will it be a pain if I don't understand it well enough? Or what if I simply try and make my own conclusions? It's just that I get easily sucked into a story and then it'd be a real pain to stop because I can't quite comprehend what's going on. I mean, all I know about Hellsing is that there is a guy with a cape and a gun and he shoots people. Or something like that.
    Yay!

Now, there's something I have to ask you. You've said that your fic is Hellsing/Pokémon. I'm very into fics right now and I want to read a lot of them, so I'm interested in trying your fic. However, I've never read or watched Hellsing. Would I understand what's going on?
    Hello.
You're one of the only FF-loungeans I havent befriended yet. But I certainly want to have you as my friend, too ^-^ So, would you mind if I sent you a friend request?
I forgot about the custom skin (I changed mine back to Seeds of Platinum and it is silver and white, so your story was hard to read).

I'm gonna be like Asty and sleep now - read later. :P
    My eyes! They burn! :P
Your new fan fiction is so white that the color blends with the background.
Please change it to black so it is readable ^^
    A free...distraction! *flees*

Hey, a message being too short beats the message I got once of "Your message is too long. Shut up." It didn't say that exactly, but that was the idea.
I was wondering if you would be interested in my new RP. It is called Rawltz and Rawltz Co. Sign up in the OOC thread if interested.
Especially if the character of Gabriel would be played by Pikachu. (Why, brain? Why must you have that image burned into your creases?)

    You're welcome, by the way.
Actually, I did see it, and for a long time, I thought you meant Van Helsing. Ha. I'm brilliant.

Seriously, though, it sounds interesting, and it looks like you've put a lot of thought into it. So, yeah, that should work. Good luck with it.
Aw, I know how it feels to not have your head on straight. Myself, I'm working on a lack of sleep plus a long day at work. And yeah, I hope Spanish does post soon, since I left her a message as well. We'll see.

My laptop and the forums have changed for me (UTC -5 time zone). So...I dunno what's wrong on your end. o_O
Just to say now, it's all right about what you said in Spanish John's thread. If you're used to seeing longer prologues, then of course a shorter one would make you question the quality of the story. It all depends on what one is exposed to while learning about writing or even just reading for fun.

It wasn't like I was berating you for saying that. XD; I was just correcting a misconception about prologues. Now you know a bit more about writing than a few minutes about.

Don't worry. Even I said a lot of things like that in my earlier days. If you're lucky, you get someone/some people to correct you and give you knowledge. =)
