I'm also worried that if I show Giovanni having an emotion that isn't anger, depression, or malicious intention, he will look too feminine. I'm already afraid that I've made him sound like a girl. Does he not sound like a man, the way I write him?

I agree. Giovanni can probably be "spontaneously nice." Like, he can do a nice thing but will rationalize it and say it was for a selfish purpose later.

My problem is that I need to show this process in his mind somehow, and I don't know how.

Okay, I'll put this as non-spoilery as possible: how does Giovanni think about people he appreciates. Not what he says, but what he thinks about them. Like, how does he show that he cares in his mind? How do I show that in a way that sounds natural and subtle?

I have a hormone-related medical issue that make these things somewhat worse. It's much better than it used to be, but mood still gets black sometimes.

I feel awful for no apparent reason. I tried to take a nap but I couldn't rest. It's just that time of the month I guess.

I'm gonna try writing... I need to write a battle scene and an infodump scene and then an I-have-no-idea-how-this-will-work scene.

I'm going to treat this question seriously.

Ghetsis did try to freeze the player before N intervened. Archie and Maxie don't seem very evil, and Giovanni seems pretty evil but I don't think he's evil enough to kill a little kid. That's probably part of the reason why he flipped out when he lost to Red. Colress's entire plan seemed to be banking on the PC. Lysandre might have tried to kill the player but didn't have a chance. Then again, Lysandre's just off his rocker anyway.

Cyrus is harder to explain... I think it's because he has super OCD or something. And battling didn't really mean much to his plan or anything. He seemed to not care much about the battles with the PC until the final battle with him. I mean, he even gave the PC the Master Ball as a rewards, just because he didn't need it. Cyrus just gives no f"cks.

Essentia then. I'm sure she'll have lots of fun.

Considering Lass Mia's age I think I'd get arrested for that.
