Current Emerald team is: Combusken - 31 Swellow - 31 Loudred - 30 Seviper -28 Trapinch - 20(just caught) The team feels unbalanced right now, because ground and water can destroy me... I'm guessing my final team will look like this though: Blaziken Swellow Exploud Seviper Flygon Crawduant

Just played through Silver again for the first time since I was about 9 years old, amazing game. Haven't been addicted to any of the newer versions like that, even graphically the animations are better than a lot of the newer stuff.

Agreed, it was much harder in R/B/Y/G/S/C when it doesn't tell you what the attack does etc, unless you know the attacks power/effect/PP before hand, it's quite hard to decide.

Misty is tough if you started with Charmander and didn't grab a Pikachu in Viridian forest. Koga gave me the most trouble on my first play through of the game though. The level jump from Erika to him was quite large and his Muk can become very annoying.

I like the advanced gen games, they certainly don't feel old to me. I prefer the graphics style to the newer games, and the games contain many of my favorite pokemon.
