No prob. ^^ I'd be glad to beta your story, if you'd like. To catch any discrepancies with Pokemon canon and stuff like that. I know what it's like to explore a new fandom - I wanted to write a Digimon fanfiction, but I hadn't seen any of the shows...I was scared of making a huge screw-up that fans would instantly recognize.
thanks mate, it was the actually pokemon thing itself ineeded to develop, i've been writing and reading critique a lot so i'm ok with that, but because of various issues i haven't played since GSC
Or if you need to learn about Pokemon...I'd suggest reading the PokeSpecial manga rather than watching the TV show, simply because the story quality is far better. You can find it here, and it's divided into plot arcs or 'sagas' - one corresponding to each set of Pokemon games.
