    I've already posted my log on my Water-type Mono-Challenge. I think it's much better than my Normal-type log. It's focused more on humor, with a bit of seriousness thrown in for good measure. I think it turned out rather well. Now if only I could get that annoying black line away off of the sprite.

    No, you really can't. You can try to stop pirates, but it's a wasted effort. We may not have as many resources as the original developers, but we have one thing they don't. An entire army called the 'Internet' that doesn't want to pay for anything that they can have for free.

    If they want to stop piracy, they should just pull the plug on the Internet itself.

    Exactly. Kingdom Hearts; Birth by Sleep, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Naruto Shippudden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes. All three are high-profile games released by Sony. All were hacked this month by one hacker. Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver are already hacked to play correctly on Flashcarts. It's the computer emulators that are giving me trouble.

    And that's exactly why ROM sharing sites will never get taken down. I have a feeling that, should all the companies actually set their differences aside for five minutes, and actually come together to sue some of the sites, they'd eventually stop piracy, at least for some small amount of time.

    Then, we'd go back to pirating, laughing at how retarded the companies were for thinking they could stop piracy.

    True. That's something else that really pisses me off, and makes Nintendo look extremely retarded.

    They send a cease and desist letter to sites like http://www.romulation.net/ to remove all downloads of Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver, yet apparently the idiots at Nintendo didn't read the forums on that site.

    On their forums, not only do they already have the ROMS for download, they have them pre-patched. Hell, I'm using a pre-patched version right now, and already it looks better than my other version. The Lugia on the START Screen doesn't look half-blanked out and all 'line-y', if that's even a word.

    If Nintendo actually had a damn brain, they would send a cease and desist letter to http://www.romulation.net/ itself, and order the taking down of all Nintendo ROMS, as well as the forums. Of course, no one would listen, because if we're willing to risk getting caught by the F.B.I, or RIIA, or other copyright protectors, than we would stop at nothing to get the games that we want.

    Hell, just Google Searching Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver, and even Google asks if you meant 'Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver ROM'.

    Okay. I'm downloading the ROM and the patch right now. I have to download them separately, since Nintendo went crazy with the copyright claims and raped MediaFire, Megaupload, Rapidshare, and Sendspace. Too bad they don't realize that no one cares about their copyright, and that people are just going to upload it anyway.

    What I don't get is why these uploaders keep naming the damn file 'Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver'! Seriously, why don't they just ask to have their file taken down? They should be naming it inconspicuous names like 'Family Pictures' or 'Unknown', or something akin to that. Naming their file after the game, or using the NDS code in the name is just asking to be taken down.

    Thanks. I may try again with the Water-type Challenge this time, but it's a big if. I'm gonna have to get some better ROMs.

    Knowing me, I'll start the Water-type Challenge, so you may as well sign me up for that one instead. Still though... I was getting so attached to my Normal-type Challenge. I'll try to post an update for the Water-type later tonight.

    Don't worry though. The bloodthirsty Totodile shall be making his return, this time in a 'Main Character' role, as opposed to the 'Side-kick' role it got delegated to in the Normal-type Challenge.
