Rumors I've heard (via local talk radio interview with Matt Birk) have the NFL as certain that it was ordered, but not certain as to who is responsible for the order.

Not that there's a noticeable feel difference in the PSI numbers being tossed around.

That said, I really don't like the Patriots, but that's pretty much out of jealousy as someone who follows a bunch of teams that are either terrible or fall short of the big game consistently.

Well, it may be appalling, but I think the lack of uproar is because nobody cares about the Panthers and the Panthers weren't a winning team in the slightest earlier in the year.

Plus it's the Patriots and the playoffs. People hate the Patriots because they're successful, and being accused in the playoffs when the spotlight is shared among fewer teams combines with that to make the focus more intense.

It depends on the gen honestly. I was a PS2 guy and an Xbox 360 guy. I don't have much interest in the next gen consoles except for the Wii U.

I like it! I'm still @ level 11 with my titan, since I've been playing it on and off since I picked it up several weeks ago. I hate strikes though, they are soooo long and hard. But I dig the shared open world multiplayer and all that jazz. Even though the game did get tons of flak I think it was a breathe of fresh air with all of these linear FPS games coming out over the years.

How far are you into the game?

I did. Too bad I currently have no plans to buy a next gen console.

Oh well. Scandal-wise, my Vikings are far from clean. Most of them were individual players rather than the whole team being implicated, though. Some of them are positively ridiculous, yet for some reason I can only remember the Whizzinator incident, the Love Boat scandal, the Adrian Peterson saga, the Brett Favre - Jen Sterger allegations, Randy Moss attacking a caterer, Randy Moss attacking a traffic cop, and Randy Moss miming mooning the crowd in Green Bay. I'm pretty sure there's more than that, some of which are amusing, others being concerning.

So, really, the Patriots and the Saints probably look relatively tame compared to the Vikings even with three cheating scandals between them. The Vikings had 32 arrests over the previous 10 years as of September 29th.

It definitely did sting, but being a fan of Minnesota sports, you get used to the disappointments, letdowns, and chokes. I've seen more than a few of those in the last 15 years. 41-donut (2000 season NFC Championship Game) is among the earliest ones I remember. University of Minnesota Gophers choking away a 28-7 lead into a 38-35 loss at home against Michigan in 2003 was another, and then 3 years later choking a 38-7 advantage away in just 1.5 quarters. Also choking away a home game against Wisconsin with under a minute remaining because of a blocked punt in 2005. And that's just the major ones in football!



It kinda was, yeah. Still hard to admit from the losing side of the game, though...

I'm not sure why, but whenever I see "Saints" in an NFL context, my blood starts to boil. I have a feeling it's tied to something 5 years ago, but my memory of that time is hazy. However, I'm pretty sure that's the year Brett Favre led us to our first Super Bowl victory, so I'm really not sure why my blood would boil at the site of "Saints" in an NFL context.

Oh, I see. I would have a hard time for that, I just have a hard time with childs. 1 Hour driving, That sounds cool!. I can't wait to have my permit and drive everyday! =)
And, Nope. I don't work. Maybe next year I can start to work, I'm kinda young. But not on the next year.
