  • Lol it didn't mean it to be insulting.... That is what I figured when I first saw your page :P
    I
I tried the same once. Meeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh.
    I
Did you get Color Cordinated for that?
    I
Yay everything is normal so I can see my avatar again :D
Oh my gosh! Is your profile page having a heart attack! I am sorry but this is hideous
At the moment I'm working on Dark Cobalt, my ROM Hack, so I haven't done anything more on Monokid than what you can see in its thread.
I don't really know anything about that kind of thing.

The colours on your profile page are hideous, by the way.
Well, not "come back" as such - we only ever locked the thread on this forum. Acanthite itself has been going strong for six or seven years now!
actually, this is supposed to be a more Monster-tamer-esque world. I'm getting my inspiration from Pokemon, though Pokeballs do not exist. The world effectively is populated by magical creatures that can do their own special thing. Matthew has a Weasel that can breath fire. His uncle has a giant golem. The dragon King has dragons that breath fire and can fly. But the humans can also fight, being able to use swords and other weapons from this time, with humans having the potential to take on the monsters that inhabit their world.

I kind of want humans to be magic-less. I want to enforce engineering to create a sort of Steam-punk esque world in the later seasons because of the need of industry to combat the rising Pokemon threat.

But actually, while I like the idea of an Academy myself, I don't want Matthew to go to it. I kind of want him to grow through war, develop strnegth and valor and seize the thrown his father had left him. but maybe his son could go to this academy?
    hmm, academy?

That actually sounds intriguing. I was thinking of making the Thunder Kingdom a huge engineering empire, so it would make sense for them to have an Academy. Grass and Ice are kind of the generically evil countries. Greedy, unscrupulous, etc. They even go so far as kidnapping the queen of the water Kingdom to try and force a trade agreement with the king.
well, if the prince doesn't want to rule, but his uncle does, then doesn't that make more sense for the kingdoms to be going after the ncle, not Matt? what if he enrols in the Kingdom's military to combat the Dragon King when he tries to conquer the lands. The tests the Prince as a man and forces him to grow up and take responsibility. Over time he becomes a decent tactician and learns of the values of being a King.
ok, and I actually already have a small plot used for the first season where the Fire Prince and his uncle had went on a trip together. so they are close and have shared some tough moments together. This brings some problems that weren't exactly there in Hamlet. In Hamlet, the uncle was a stranger that came into his life, taking his future career and life, but for Fire, the uncle is a true family to the prince. which makes this uncomfortable for when he confronts him about the truth. Also, the father had ben ill when the prince and the uncle left the kingdom, and the prince knows that his father is ill. which shows that the Prince is more worried about the responsibility of being king than the pain of loosing a father.

Also, the Fire Prince's name is Matthew
well, the Fire Kingdom is ruled by an ailing king who's son is too whimsical to want to have power. When his father dies, his uncle takes the thrown and marries his mother.

The water Kingdom is also ruled by an old king. This man has married for times and his current wife is only 18, while he is 59.

The Sand Kingdom is unique in that the people here do not use collars to command their beasts like everyone else does. Instead they use music like from reeds or flutes.

The Beyond is an area with a lot of gloom and graves. They have an entire city dedicated to the dead. The city itself is multilayered and filled with nooks and crannies that can get anyone lost. Especially with the thick mist that comes around at day time.

The Ice and Grass Kingdom are allied kingdoms.

The pass is a huge mountain range that keeps most from passing through
