Cause I'd probably just use rm2k3...
I don't know scripting, so I wouldn't be able to make an appropriate battle system, and other stuff for it. So i'd use rm2k3's default system. And I'm not allowed many tiles, so the mapping wouldnt be all that great. Basically, If i knew scripting and such, i totally would.

I have not finished it. I've been playing it lately. And I like to think I'm decently far.. I believe the storyline is that... uh... Idk, something bad happened on the island, which made a bunch of digimon lose their memories or something. Idk, It's not to clear. The only thing i hate is the constant feeding and pooping, and that you don't keep your digimon forever. They die after so many days. It sucks -_-
I was thinking of making a game like that, where they will transform into something else based on stats. And they follow you around and such, and you get people to join your town. I really like being able to improve your town.

After looking at your game (sorry, I havne posted on it) I picked up my old Digimon World game for the first playstation! Then i downloaded some for my DS emulator... I can't save though so i dont play them lol. But yeah, you're plenty creative :P
