That's true, but luckily there shouldn't be any rush to duel each other right away or anything. I'm sure PC holds tournaments for other games as well, and they all have to deal with this exact same problem.

Yeah, I'm guessing it should all come down to the number of people we have. Anyway, it's completely your call when you decide to announce any plans to the club!

Ah, I remember Challonge! I guess our tournament would put that site to pretty good use, haha. Do you have any ideas on how to randomly pair people up for the first round?

And yeah, I understand. I was thinking it would be fun to take everyone on, but in the long run it might actually be unrealistic. In a round robin tournament, we might see a scenario where some people might not be able to face others, which could cause disruption to the tournament, and it might end up falling apart. I guess we shouldn't take that risk, haha.

I'm personally fine with anything so long as we can even make this tournament happen, haha. So how do people get paired up during the early rounds? Do you just choose your own opponent?

Whenever you think is best, honestly. I'm thinking the best time might be when no one has any pesky exams to deal with. But yeah, matches should definitely be on their own time, so no one should feel any need to rush their way into a specific time frame.

Do you think it should be a round robin tournament, where everyone duels against everyone once, or should it be a competition where you can duel whoever you want, whenever you want, and as many times as you want (all within a certain period of time), and whoever has the most points by the deadline wins?

Hmm... I think changing the thread title (to advertise it) would be the first step to getting attention, but I'm pretty sure there are YGO players out there who don't even visit Fan Clubs and Groups to begin with, so I'm not sure how we'll appeal to them. As for our own club members, we could always VM them to ask if they're interested, so hopefully that part should be covered. I think we should shoot for at least 8 people, since 4 is a bit unrealistic haha.

I know this is a bit sudden, but do you think we should we try hosting a tournament soon? The only problem I see here is advertising it... (lol)

Yep, but a free E-Tele target who has both its own effect and decent Synchro usage sounds nice for Karakuris. xD

Well, to be fair, you're actually brave enough to use random decks like Summoner against me, while I have like 20+ random decks just like that but I'm too ashamed and/or scared to test them out against you, hahaha. (I'm sure you remember how badly Red Nova and ShARK-V's turned out, lol.)

As for Karakuris, who knows haha. I used to lose pretty badly with them against Squirrel, so I recently decided to upgrade the deck and ended up taking out stuff like Urgent Tuning in favor of Miracle Synchro Fusion and more draw cards and whatnot. I haven't done enough testing with them to make sure they're "consistent" yet, but if one thing's for certain, it's that triple Yuki Usagi is just too darn annoying lol.

Nah, I honestly think my only consistent deck is my Cyber deck (lol), while my Blackwings and Karakuris just find lucky ways to do makeshift plays out of weird hands, haha.

But I mean, sure, maybe your Summoner deck couldn't do what it wanted, but your other decks like Melodious, Ritual Beast, Koa'ki Meiru, Yosenju, and even Trains are frightening as heck lol. I'd say you only lost the Train match due to a bad matchup, considering how Cybers can just abuse your side of the field to no end with Chimeratech and whatntot. xD
