  • Thanks~ It's a beautiful game so far. Most intense intro ever and feels throughout. :3
You may enjoy EO4 or EO Untold. They let you change the difficulty levels so you don't have to feel pressured to force your way through them. I only played on Normal mode in each so that I got the real EO experience. I'm used to rough traditional RPGs, but it was nice to actually play something that made level grinding essentially impossible and kind of worthless. :P
Oh, that's nothing. I usually clock over 600-700 hours on Pokémon games, but that's usually because I keep coming back to them even long after I beat them. I usually will take my time with other RPGs too, but this was actually nuts because it isn't really that long of a game (story-wise). The big thing with EO is exploration. You constantly keep discovering new things in the game, even if it's not overly important. The game keeps encouraging you to explore too, and that's the fun of it.
Well, I clocked over 170 hours on it total, but I restarted like ten hours in because "casual" mode for the game was too easy and I wanted to try it all the way through on "normal," which is the equivalent of hard mode. Suffice it to say, 160 hours is the longest I've ever spent on a straight play-through on any game without just dawdling to level-grind or play around with stuff, and the final boss battle was nuts (it took me over 60 turns to just to beat it).

I heard Phoenix Wright was supposed to be a good game, but I never picked it up myself. Isn't it that one where you play as an attorney and try to win cases?
Good! I finally beat Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan last night after playing it off and on since last October. Loooooooooooooooooooooooooong game, to say the least!
Fair enough, I like it personally so long as the screaming actually has musicality haha. If your screaming and it doesn't work with the music, then it's not vocals for a song anymore its you yelling over the top of what I was listening to xD
    I dislike EDM personally haha

Since you like Halestorm you could try the Pretty Reckless, Within Temptation. Evanescence or Nightwish. All are female-fronted rock/metal bands. Other bands in those genres I recommend would be Linkin Park, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus, Seether, Dead by Sunrise, Metallica, Mastodon, Ramstein and many others haha

I don't particularly like electronic music but there are a lot of dubstep remixes floating about on youtube as well.

What other genres do you like?
Lindsey Stirling is the most overrated violinist I have seen to be honest. Loving Halestorm though.

If you are ever looking for new music I'll have about a thousand suggestions xD
There music is right up my alley xD
It kind of reminds me of the Pretty Reckless, although a tad harder. I think I prefer Halestorm xD
I love them so much <3 Seen Halestorm live at Rockfest twice now; they always are worth paying attention to~
