Hey, there!

Guess we didn't get a chance to talk yesterday... Guess I get worried when I don't hear back from people - I've had quite a few who I've talked with and become good friends with, then they've mysteriously left, which is kinda disappointing...

Anyway, so, how's everything? So far in Leaf Green, I've gotten two badges and caught the Meowth that's necessary for my team :) Also, I got to go to my uncle's and use his unlimited internet to download a whole bunch of anime! I also found a cute picture of Leaf on this Japanese fan-art site I frequent. Other than that, not much going on, except I am taking the heat from people simply because I didn't like the new B2/W2 game trailer (and I'm apparently the only one who didn't...) Ugh, I wish it had better Pokemon and the girl trainer, lol (again, you'll have to pardon my dislike of dogs, it's based on too many bad experiences with them when I was younger...) Hope everything is going well! Please get back to me soon!

Oh yeah, is my story still keeping you interested? And how much have you read so far?

Me too... and I don't even want to see their work. I'm not going to give them that satisfaction.Yeah, Fred, crazy guy, isn't he... And who knows, he might have one when he shows up again... of course, given my stance and overall negative RL experiences with dogs, expect them to be used by bad guys most of the time :P

I definitely don't like this limited internet stuff... I only get once a week (where I visit a relative) that I can download anime episodes and fan art, so I'm usually behind on anime series.

Actually, four years but I did switch about two thirds of the way through 10th grade when my dad retired. It's their fault we live in the middle of nowhere... they like this boring country setting... Getting away for college was the best decision I ever made. Much better than living at home, though I did enjoy high school quite a bit. Didn't like those cold Northern winters, though...

Nope, it's a car (in Lisa's case a really big car) with the cargo area in the back. All the awesome ones also have that fake wood on the sides :)

Professors, at least in US public colleges, really vary in their policies. Some are real strict about attendance and getting on time; with others you could only show up once a week and they wouldn't know any better. Or care, in the case of several of mine. In general coursework is harder, but you could always luck out and get an easy professor (I took two math classes by the same professor where the class average for tests was always over 100 because of bonus questions and he'd give you a formula sheet to use. I loved that guy's classes :) )

You hardly ever have the same schedule from semester to semester, because of the times classes are offered and trying not to overlap classes you need to take. And I never liked taking those classes downtown. But I think they offered them because they'd be convenient for the students who work at the big downtown banks by day and worked toward their degree by night. Of course, it wasn't so good for me who lived on campus...

Me too, I think. Hopefully they're found in the wild. And cats portrayed as evil has been a major problem ever since Team Rocket was introduced in the anime... things need to change :/ I'd like to see dogs (and Pikachu as well for that matter) being the "evil" Pokemon for a change... of course they'll play that role quite frequently in my story xD

Nope, it was a guy, which is why I had no choice but to play as a guy for that game. Actually, I'd want someone like that to be the character you play as... if I ever have to play as a guy, I'd want him to be dressed to impress :P

Well, it was made a lot easier to go without wi-fi because everyone started going to B/W and I couldn't find anyone to trade/battle with on Platinum anymore.

Well, Lisa's ready for more questions! And really, I'm probably the only person out there who plans out their trainer's favorite grocery store and hotel chains, and their favorite car xD Not too many people have their character come from a real life location either... usually it's a town in a Pokemon region.

I haven't seen that series, but I have heard of it :) The plot explores the Leaf vs. Red debate in HG/SS. In mine, Red's rise to fame was conducted through brainwashing and bribes by his rich CEO father, and Red himself lives in Mt. Silver because he's making drugs in secret. Leaf teams up with an older Lisa to uncover the secret and bring Red and his daddy to justice. Car chases, shootouts, and fights in seedy taverns ensue.

Lisa is basically based on Leaf except with fancier dresses. The rest of my character designs honestly just pop into my head :)

Leaf just has that sort of magic to her. Oh yeah, and having Meowth available in game helps too, lol

Oh, okay! What series is it? I've got a story idea now, not sure how far I'll make it xD

Hey there, been a while now. How are ya faring? Good? Oh, I just found out you like maths. I love maths. It's my best subject at school.

Aww, I missed not hearing back from you today... it's been the highlight of my day lately since I'm kinda starving for nice, long conversations. So, everything going well?

Oh, I'm restarting Leaf Green for probably the 20th time xD

Oh yeah, and they definitely had this "We're better than you, so we're right and you're wrong" attitude. Well, chapter 5 isn't that bad for two days' worth of reading :) It took me a whole lot longer to write it, and think of ideas. The first team admin appears in 5. What did you think of the guy? And trust me, he just gets more insane as time goes on xD

It's the cheap internet service package we get at the house. If we go over 5GB a month of data we get hit with extra fees.

I pretty much knew by my last year of high school that I wanted to go to college in the south. 18 years of brutal winters did a pretty good job of convincing me that doing so would be a smart move on my part - even if I had to pay more being an out of state student. And I've never liked life out in the country... too slow paced and boring for me, and my preference has always been for the action in a city.

Yeah, I know. Made me dislike the Pokemon anime in a real hurry. Lisa's main car looks something like this. In fact, it's almost identical, except that hers has cloth seats instead of leather and she has different wheels on hers.

College is a lot of work, but there's always time for fun. I was never one to let deadlines pass as far as assignments, but it sometimes took a bit of motivation to pry me away from events and stuff to actually sit down and get work done. The good thing about college is that you'll usually have two or three days to do assignments, so you can do a bit one day and still have some "fun" time left each day. I had night classes on and off for about three or four years. Quite a few of them were actually held at an off-campus location, and those were a pain because I had to use public transportation to and from those. And let me tell you, those buses at night often carry some very shady looking characters. Fortunately, nothing ever happened to me, but still...

Yep, so I won't spoil it. But until then Lisa will be seen in skirts/dresses and some sort of hosiery exclusively. Thanks! You see so many trainers in these stories dressing like tomboys (or more often, actually being boys) and that was also something different that I wanted to do with Lisa - have her wear outfits that are adorable but not very practical for journeying, all for the sake of her wanting to look cute. Lisa may be into cars, but she's still very girly :P

I've seen screenshots from it. (a) I wish it featured the girl trainer instead of the guy and (b) I wish that was Persian instead of Arcanine sinking its teeth into that Seviper. Hopefully they have separate cutscenes for the girl, otherwise it'll be really weird when your character suddenly changes gender when a cutscene takes place xD Was Liepard seen in the wild or as part of someone's team?

But really, I haven't played as a guy trainer since XD Gale of Darkness, since you didn't have a choice then. And even though I hated Hilda's short shorts, she was still better than Hilbert (though both are awful names). I really haven't liked any of the male trainer designs, and I probably won't until they give us one who wears a tuxedo and a top hat and has a monocle and handlebar mustache. Or cool looking shades and a lab coat :P

Well, they really didn't like any stories other than those written by those by people in their own circle. I wasn't the only person they attacked, but they came after me with more hatred than others... maybe because mine was more popular at the time and they were jealous :P Anyway, thanks and how far have you read so far?

Alright, I'll check it out... just not right away. We have a cap on how much data we can use in a month for our internet, so watching videos is kinda out of the question until I do get out on my own and get unlimited access.

Not to mention much nicer weather and being in a more busy, populated area :) The colleges were 900 miles south of home, and home is out in the middle of nowhere, which really sucks. There's literally nothing going on around here.

Not really actually, it's actually the cat vs. dog thing that makes me not really like the dog based Pokemon too much. Think of Pikachu as like the spoiled brat in school who's always acting cute and going, "Look at me! I'm cute so everyone has to love me!" And trust me, IMO Lisa's old station wagon is cuter than that thing.

I just had to make sure I limited myself on how many things I did get involved in (I think my max was about five or six clubs) and try to juggle studies and social time. Sometimes I slacked a bit on the studying end of it, though, it happens :P It's college, after all. Usually though, club activities are in the evenings so as long as you don't have night classes they won't interfere with your classes. Of course, in grad school I did have night classes...

Pretty much, yeah. She does own a few casual outfits, but aside from one outfit, they're all skirts or dresses (and I'm not going to spoil you on the one outfit that's the exception; she gets and wears that around chapter 48 or 49 and it's essential to the plot). And she wears pantyhose or leggings pretty much all of the time as well, to complete her look.

They just better not decide to remove some of the Unova native Pokemon because of the new introductions. If I'm without a cat Pokemon, I'm going to cry.

Same thing here; after I had to replace my computer, I've pretty much had to go without wi-fi since.
