Haha, nah. Just amateur boxing, and I'm still pretty new to the sport.

Naoto in female clothing is actually...odd. Especially in a skirt. She looks like your typical boring anime girl, so I feel like the masculine clothes kind of defines her as a character and reflects her personality better. Though I actually really like the clothes she wears in the new ending of Golden, she looks more like an adult which fits.

Speaking of clothing though, after seeing Naoto's outfits that she gets in Golden...I actually wish she was a guy. I don't like my favorite character in a high-cut battle armor and some cat halloween costume as fanservice for the creepy fans. x_x (She did get a Sherlock Holmes outfit so that more than makes up for these, though.) Kanji's are great though.

Because 16 is the age where I have to get err...something. Think it's a card but I don't know, it was all so sudden. I'm also not really from Ireland if you're curious, and we only moved here for a while.

Man I'm so free this year video games is all I play when I don't have boxing lol. Kinda boring but got nothing to do. I wouldn't really pick up a Vita for one game, considering how expensive it is. It's mostly a system for PS One games for me right now, but I'm loving Uncharted and picking up Gravity Rush and Ass Creed Liberation sooner or later.

Happy bday

Already got my bday present early yesterday, which is a PS Vita with 8 gb memory card, uncharted and 20 euros to buy stuff on PSN store. (Got Crash 2, Crash Team Racing and Metal Gear Solid.) This little beauty is gonna be home to all Persona games soon too, sans P2 Eternal Punishment. :P

As for what I'll do for wednesday...I'm gonna skip school to go an immigration office since I'll be 16. And cut my hair. That's about it unless there's some surprise for me. What did you do for your bday? Had fun? Got anything?

What's so bad about the characters? I don't really like their designs (always preferred Soejima's human designs over Kaneko's personally, despite how much I adore Raidou's design.), but I've yet to see a bad cast in a MegaTen game.

Are the dungeons that bad? Nocturne doesn't really have any.

I haven't really played it, but I know the battle mechanics is similar if not nearly the same. I don't know if I want to try it or not, though. The fact you can't use demons and instead devour them is my major gripe about it, as they are what make SMT what it is to me. Kinda feels like not using Pokemon in a Pokemon game.

To be honest, my problem with the story is the endings, but I haven't yet seen one of them yet and I heard that one is the best and definitive one. The story itself, atmosphere and characters are all great however, especially the atmosphere. The battles are really good.

And I wouldn't worry about Nocturne aging well, the only thing out-dated about it is the random battles, which I found surprisingly tolerable considering my hatred towards the mechanic. Ever played Digital Devil Saga? It's a bit like it.

Nocturne's great. It's different from other JRPGs in that stats don't win your battles but your strategy and team will, making each boss play more like a puzzle. It's a bit like Persona 3 and 4 in that, just puts more emphasis in it. It's great fun managing your team and the battle system is better than P3&4, but the story falls flat. I recommend it, and since you played Persona 3 (and 4 I assume) you won't really find it as hard as some make it out to be. (Hell I find it easy so far.)

I do prefer Persona 4, though.

Hm I didn't find Tartarus to be that awful... got its bland moment but the battles are interesting enough to keep it going. How's Nocturne? I thought about getting it but didn't in the end.

I actually don't like Persona 3 that much because Tartarus is awful and I prefer Akihiko if only because he boxes. I haven't beaten the game yet since I'm playing SMT Nocturne instead, so maybe it'll change.
