I used to have a lot of Friend Safari, actually...dunno if I'd still have them if I were to use my 3DS to play X or Y again.
They kinda remind me of custom Warhammer figures. I think I'd want to recolour Shulk in white and gold if I ever got my hands on one...although I'd need to edit his costume as well, and that's a bit beyond my skill level, aha.
I never got to play Path of Radiance, and I doubt I ever will unless they re-release it; it costs a fortune now. I just like Roy's voice and how ridiculously powerful he was when compared to Marth. Ike probably hits harder in Brawl/SSB4, but he's a lot slower, and I've always preferred the speedy characters~
My aunt lives in Manchester, so she'd probably agree with you, aha. I'd be happy to go to either, to be honest! I'm about equal distance from Portsmouth and Southampton, and both are awful places. xD
My childhood was essentially Rune Factory, aha. Mine dragged me out of the house as well! I used to go birdwatching every week...it was actually quite fun. The nature reserves themselves are beautiful places as well. But not much fun in more extreme weather - along the shore it's freezing in the winter, and walking anywhere in the summer heat...nope. No way. xD
I'd say Brotherhood is probably slightly better than the original series, but that's just me - I hated the awful ending to the first series, and the movie that followed it. Brotherhood is a bit more cohesive, but not as funny. But it DOES keep the fantastic dub voice actors from the original series...and the outtakes are hilarious <3

I've built up about 80 people on my 3DS, although I've had it since launch day and for a while I took it with me every time I went out, aha.
You could! I've seen Dark Link and Fire Flower Mario and they look AMAZING. Some of these look pretty good as well~
Roy > Ike. It's a shame that they'd never get rid of Marth, because Roy was far more useful...
Wow, you're between Manchester and Liverpool? That's got to be both awesome and highly inconvenient at the same time. Living in a village isn't so bad, although I get overwhelmed by cities as a result of it. There are a few fields, but I'm on the outskirts of a town, so not as many as you might think. Where I used to live - the village next to this one, actually! - it was a lot more rural; I had fields outside my back garden, a stream to play in, and a pond to be scared of. xD
I seeeeee. Aha, I learned my lesson about taking recommendations from a friend the hard way - she recommended FMA Brotherhood, which I loved, but then she recommended Code Geass and Madoka Magica after that. I love her like a little sister, but...yeah. xD

It makes Streetpass a nuisance...although I've only needed to use that a couple of times so far, thankfully. Honestly, Nintendo promote interaction with others, but then they make their consoles too big to conveniently carry!
That's probably possible...after all, people have made custom amiibos already. They're mostly recolours, but I've seen some pretty fancy ones. I wouldn't want to try it myself, though. xD
I'm rubbish without the Gamecube controller, although hopefully I'll improve...I miss Roy. I was a demon with Roy. I want to use Shulk, but either I haven't figured out how to use him properly or he's not very good. You might say that I'm not really feeling it. /shot
They did? I don't think I was shopping at that point in time...GAME have been GAME for as long as I can remember! My nearest one is about twenty minutes away by train, which is fine. I live in a village, so I'd be amazed if they had one around here anyway...I'd also commit murder to work there. xD
It's a more personal feeling, which means you enjoy and value the experience more. If someone recommends me something I expect it to be good, so I'm not as appreciative of it when it is...unless it's REALLY good, anyway. But that's only happened twice - with Drakengard and Disgaea. Every other time it's been meh.

...plus they're too big to fit into your pockets now! Well, I can fit my 3DS XL and Vita into the pocket of my jeans, but it's an uncomfortable and awkward bulk. xD
It'd depend on which one you want, yeah. I wanted a Shulk one...nope. Gone. They're something like £50 now or so, and I'm not paying that for a toy! If I got one, I'd be driven to get them all, and that would set me back a small fortune.
I just haven't bought the game yet! I'll get around to it eventually, but I've got it on 3DS now and I've got a ton to play on my PS3 anyway, so I don't need it just yet. Maybe for Christmas. There are some good substitutes available though, including an adapter that goes for about £25 I think.
Unless the price gap is significant (£5+) I always go with GAME for my games...reward card points build up, and the service is just generally more reliable. Offhand, I can't remember a time in the last two years where I haven't had a game sent to me after release day; they dispatch them on Tuesday for Friday release days usually~
Well, don't go in with any expectations and you may come away pleasantly surprised! Most of my favourite games I discovered by accident, or as a result of taking that stance to the first game in the series~

Bigger is better! Well, for handhelds...unless you want to take it out of the house with you. But I have a Gameboy Micro for that. But yeah, tiny screens are inferior for everything except classic bit titles, which just get massively distorted/blurred on big screens. All my virtual console titles are on my normal 3DS. xD
True, although they should anticipate demand based on past sales...the Amiibo fiasco is ridiculous; some of them have sold insanely quickly. Don't even get me started on the SSB Gamecube adapter fiasco either; I'm still pissed Amazon cancelled my pre-order because there wasn't enough supply to meet demand.
Let me know what you make of it if you do give it a go; I'd be interested in hearing your perspective, especially since you don't like the series. I like 2D Zelda titles far more than 3D ones, but I've still gone back to them repeatedly despite my complaints, aha~
    P
They are...wielding one made me feel like Sephiroth. As stereotypical as that sounds. xD
True; the New 3DS XL special edition prices on eBay are/were horrifying. I understand that it's not much of a Limited Edition if it isn't limited, and that Nintendo can't set price ceilings on these things, but I wish they'd find some way to underwrite their value. It's definitely possible, as with the release of the Prime trilogy on the Wii U, the physical copies of the game went from £100+ in value to about £20 or so. To my dismay, as I was debating selling my copy. xD
Actually, the New 3DS XL does have multicoloured buttons! Well, the lettering is multicoloured, the button itself isn't...which is good enough for me. Big screens > extra features. At least to me, anyway. The price difference isn't significant either.
MM is a pretty creepy game...or so I've been told; I've not started playing it yet. The design is a little disconcerting - I think it's the staring eyes that do it - but I've seen worse. xD
    P
Well, if you're good enough to not get hit...xD
I did try running a katana for a while, although not having a reliable defense made me feel horribly exposed...especially against enemies like Deviljho, Barioth and Diablos, which just barrel their way through you. Deviljho armour + lance was my favourite combination <3
They do...although they can be convinced to change their minds. IFI released Neptunia Re;Birth 2 physically over here anyway, after Re;Birth 1 was digital only, as an example that made me cheer. I don't like digital games, especially not on the Vita - which is locked to one account - but I still find myself supporting my favourites. xD
The anniversary PS4 is amaaaazing...but scarce, and horribly expensive for its scarcity. Some idiot actually decorated theirs with sequins and tried to sell it on eBay last month...I dunno if it sold or not. Special edition 3DSs aren't hard to get a hold of...depending on what ones you want. My regular XL is the Monster Hunter 3 one, and my New XL is the MH4U one, aha. But for ones like the Zelda MM 3D one...good luck. I refused to buy that one because Nintendo were the only ones who stocked it. xD
    P
I seeee. Yeah, it can be tough to find your style at first. I went with the lance in the end; good defense and a solid offense, plus that awesome running charge move. Not great against faster, smaller enemies, but this is what teammates are for! Going to run a lance on MH4U as well once I get into that~
There are a fair few Vita JRPGs that are digital-only, although to be fair you can get them on the PS3 as well, so it's not TOO big of a loss. It would be nice if consoles and handhelds had more variety than black, white and occasionally blue, yes. The DS Lite had a lot of nice colours, and the special edition 3DSs are good, but Sony don't seem to like choice. xD
Thanks. It took me a while to find some of these GIFs since Cait Sith Sinon doesn't have a lot of camera time in Arc 2 of SAO 2.
    P
You need a Circle Pad Pro to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on 3DS, really...or at least, I think you do. MH without dual analogue is absolutely intolerable. xD
Makes sense...after all, there are a lot of Vita-exclusive JRPGs. Far more than the 3DS. I'd say the quality varies far more than it does on the 3DS, though. But then, it depends on what you like~
I think you can get a white one from Japan as well actually, but don't hold me to that, as I'm not 100% sure. The slim model does have a longer battery life, isn't quite as heavy (if that even matters) and a 1GB internal memory (that will get you absolutely nowhere; most digital Vita games are 3GB+) to offset the lower screen quality though, so I guess it's not all bad. As long as it plays the games, right? xD
