Yeah, people tend to work their way around the rules by presenting just enough information about their idea. I hate when people typ liek dis through the whole thing and by the time you work your way through the hieroglyphics you discover a plot more vague and disappointing than their grammar. It surprises me that the mods keep so many of them open, the majority of those people don't even progress with their ideas, or even finely tune them.
Lol I wish I understood the ~ways of hacking.~ I tried to figure it out once but owning a Mac certainly doesn't help, and even with my Windows partition I didn't have the patience. Yeah, Pokeyo was telling me about some of his ideas. I actually have a few Fakemon drawn out in my sketchbook, if you're still considering Fakemon I could present my own to you. I'm no spriter, though :x

Good strategy, and I don't blame you. I've seen so many completely unprepared hack ideas that seemed to have had no thought or effort put into them in the Scrapbox section, people are to be braced to call them out on it. Hack noobs are everywhere, it's best not to accidentally blend in. Do you have a storyline laid out or anything? And is it a Fakemon game?
I'll try to refrain from discussing how delicious it is, I don't want to be responsible for your throat constricting and breaking out into hives or whatever happens when you eat nuts. lol.

Um...ignore the FireRed hack. That was going to become Pokemon ShadowAmethyst, but I realized that doing it on FireRed would be stupid because no matter what it would still lack some features that Emerald would have.

Anyways, thanks for trying the demo. That's just a tiny preview, and the whole game won't be exactly the same as FR/LG. If you noticed, the rival battle now takes place at the very edge of Pallet Town instead of the Prof's lab.

The Battle Frontier will be all on Seven Island. You know at the top of the island, there's the Trainer Tower in FR/LG? That's where the Battle Frontier will be.

Fakémon can be quite cool if they're done right. I just laugh at the crappy ones that some people have. I've only seen a few cool looking ones. Awesome, I'd love to see them. The other ones look like really bad mixtures between Charmander and Pikachu even though they weren't supposed to.

Cool, sounds good. You should include one that isn't Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Suicune, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Palkia, Dialga or Giratina. They've all been used before so it would be cool to use another one. I'd probably go with one of the legendary birds or maybe one of the other dogs. I don't know what I'd do really. This is why I haven't attempted to make a hack. I lack the ability to think of stuff on my own. xP

Haha, German for Leaving Cert. Only 6 people in my whole year did Higher Level German for the Junior Cert (including me of course). Our teachers were so bad. Still, I kinda wish I'd done it now. The German class gets Fat Murphy to teach them. She just b!tches about teachers and some annoying guy in the class that everyone hates, lol. My French teacher is so boring.

Heh, I know yeah. He's a complete tool though. He's about 50 and his wife has to drive him to school. He looks like an overgrown child because he brings a school bag and a lunch box around with him. xD

Lol, yep, it costs 99c a day as long as you use less than 50MB. Any internet use on O2, Vodafone and Meteor costs that, I'm sure. Opera Mini is completely free. :) Is that what you meant?

Yep, if you go one bite over 50MB, you get ripped off. MP3s used to take mine a load before. I limit the amount I download now though so it doesn't happen as often. I try to keep my credit. I use the internet everyday though and I always have my phone with me so it still goes pretty quickly.

Yeah, that's one of the ones I was talking about. I never played it but it sounds pretty cool. I'm pretty sure it's only in Japanese too.

Yeah, Scripting always seemed the most difficult to me. I'd probably just confuse myself. It takes a while for me to get into things like that.

Actually, I hadn't tried that. Thanks for the tip! However, it won't work here. I'm presuming that you mean the "Zero out" value, but that's already 0000 on both maps. Also, I can already go from the first map to the second, it's just that if I try to go back, the game freezes. I'm pretty sure it's just an issue with my offsets. To illustrate, I'm connecting the Route 5 FR map to the Route 3 map. Route 5 has offset: 0, Route 3 offset: 20.
