  • Of course I've seen and fought good Luigi's. He has tons of potential but not many people take him up on it. He's very good in Project M as well.

And yeah I'd love to do some. But maybe in a couple minutes, doing my matchup with Wilhelm right now.
Yep, we'll just have to wait.

By the way, sorry you didn't win your matchup with Spino, I lost to him too in the last tournament, mainly because of input lag and just being nervous. He's got an interesting playstyle for sure, with the whole dodging attack defense thing. Just letting you know that you got a tough guy your first match.
Of course I did :3 It is very awesome that they're not doing CGI animation anymore like in the prequels, and the fact that J. J. Abrams is directing it is good, but the only thing I'm worried about is the movie(s) being too rushed and crappy.

    How about you?
I'm pretty sure even Samus has one, but they're impossible to do with that controller. It would probably be easier if I got some kind of a grip padding for the analog stick but besides that it's too hard to do those sorts of combos. And no, in tournaments and competitive play they don't emulate the game or use a different controller. Just raw Smash :p
Sorry, I would have said yes but tonight was kind of family night so I wasn't able to :/ But I'd love to another time! :p

And I don't think that rumor about 64 is true at all... There is a significant amount of hitstun, but not enough for infinite combos, and if you haven't noticed, the 64 controller analog stick not only leaves marks on your fingers, but is also very inaccurate and unpredictable. So for me at least it's very difficult to do combos period.
Hey, I heard about you through my cousin, and I was wondering, if you would like to versus sometime on SSB4.
Yes I have a physical copy. It took me months to finally get it (and a lot of continuous checking of an old game store of mine xP) I found it only a few weeks ago and the guy there said he couldn't believe it lasted this long xD But it is very fun and similar to Melee and I'm very happy now x) By Christmas I will own every Smash game! Which is a huge accomplishment for me because it's my favorite franchise.

And yeah, hopefully in the future if you ever do get the Wii U version we can enter official 2v2 tournaments! :D
    #BestTeamEver xP
It's cool, you don't have to give an explanation :) And yeah sorry about the stock, even the time was a little low, I just started playing Smash for 3DS again because I've been playing Melee and 64, where it's generally faster and people die quicker and tend to be more aggressive. When I play either of that it's always 4 stock 6 minutes, but for Smash 4 it's usually 2 stock 6 minutes :p
Some very fun matches :) That input lag threw me way off the first match xD Like the most embarrassing moment of my life right there. Your Marth is really good by the way! Most Marth's I've seen/fought are very... How do I say, spammy? They basically just try to "master" one special move the entire match, but you were very good.

Thanks for the fun matches! I hope we can do some again soon. I also hope you're able to get a the Wii U version sometime in the future so there is a lot less lag. I play Mario Kart 8 online and there is zero lag, so Smash should be fine too :)
Yeah I would love to have some matches :p I'll make the room for us, and we can chat about it on Skype since it's more of a instant message.
In the chat? Mostly Europe and US, but I've faced US people there without much lag. Shooould be OK, I suppose, worth the try. In the forum? Yeah.

Nearly all of them play on the Wii U now though, but I guess you could ask.
I hang out on NeoGAF, pretty easy to organize 2v2s there, especially in the IRC chat. (Which you can join if you want, btw, nice people there that play all the time!)

Doc's problem are two: Mobility and recovery. If they were decent at least I'd think he'd be really solid. He's just a shell of his former Melee self, though.
I guess one thing Doc has over Luigi is better air speed. Doc's damage output isn't as good as Luigi's though. I like the Doc too much to drop tho, prescribing KOs is just too fun.

Hilariously Wario/Wario is actually a real threatening team combination lmao. And it's less that they can't use him anymore and just that they'd rather switch to another character. (All newcomers now that I think about it :V)
I was admittedly one of the people the wrote off Luigi in this game, then I realized just how lagless he is. I struggle to think what Doc has over him, which kinda frustrates me tbh since I reaaally like Doc.

Even in Brawl Wario had few representations. I know some Brawl Wario players that switched to other characters because he just isn't as good here and isn't at all an easy transition to use since he's so different. I think he got
It actually sucks for me as a Wario player since watching high level matches helps my play. I'm the kind of guy that watches and adopts instead of one that innovates. :P I did find some cool stuff with him, mind. (DThrow combos into fair at low percents which actually follows up right after with a bite for amazing damage, and some cool bike throwing set ups that are impractical tho)
He's doing great in doubles though. Seems like he's still top in that format lol.
Eh I honestly think ROB's in the bottom half of the roster. Still good, mind, but he doesn't have anything to really respect.

What do you think of Luigi winning two tournaments now? :P At least he's getting representations. There's barely any Wario players to put him on the radar.
Honestly he was a lot better in Brawl because he could space so many characters and has so many cool set ups and ATs with the gyro (which are mostly gone now.) His sole problem there is Meta Knight which is why he dropped so bad as the game went on.

Yeah I'm in Europe, so that'd explain it.
Yeah ROB is one of my characters as well, though I honestly prefer him in Brawl than here. I miss his Brawl shenanigans. :(

Do you wanna try again durig the weekends?
