No one puts any effort into there games any more. They all say "oh I can't code" - do they think I could when I started? Some of the members really get under my skin just because they are giving the game developers a bad name.

like what can you do tell me which town and whatnot

I posted the thread yesterday, but it hasn't gotten any attention thus far. I've been doing a lot of work (story and design-wise) in the past couple of months; I plan on doing everything in my power to ensure that this game gets somewhere.

Actually, it was Pokemon Destiny before...xD;
In any case, I've made several changes (such as the now puzzle-driven [as oppossed to gym-driven] first region). The story is much more developed than before as well; back when I first posted it, I didn't have a definite ending. With this thread, I've got everything planned out.

you really wanna know the ending it also explains why and how the game is 15 years long

Hmm let me see... maybe tring to act like we did in the end of last year when everything was cool and exciting. Maybe you know, the GD gets active like it was by that time again xD.

Is this going to be an evil resuscitation? If so then I'm all game! (Though if it were a plain vanilla resuscitation I'd probably still be game.)

What do you mean where are all the games gone?
I haven't noticed.
Games die off all the time and if the thread is more then a month or so old, it generally gets locked if the creator stops posting.

I was rather rough about it, no denying that, but if I'd sandwitched my criticism in between praising their sprites and their maps and whatever, who's to say they would have read it? I'll try to be more delicate next time though-- I had half the staff and the developer bearing down on me about it (although Minorthreat handled it really well, I thought).

Sure xD You two weren't the most agreeable people, but you didn't exactly go out of your way to be so, and I've never really seen AZ be intentionally polite, but you shook stuff up a lot (although you should have targeted the showcase rather than the plot and story board-- you'dve made more of an impact that way).

P.S. What a beautiful poem. (...thing) :3 It could be viewed as a metaphor for taking risks with game plots, but then it could be a metaphor for many other things too xD

I didn't read it. Maybe you helped him though, and it'll become one of the few (VERY few) games to make it to the Showcase.

*sigh* it's tragic, isn't it? Malachite-- which had something going for it, and although it had some apparent flaws it at least had the guts to use Fakemon and a new region-- shut down, and a few of the other games which I respected were buried (such as Carbon). Now, looking at the front page of the showcase, I see only anime-based games and/or remakes, MMORPfails, and perhaps one or two really interesting projects (Pokemon Protectors, and... uh, Ryen perhaps). Plus Uranium's getting no comments :/ I'm helping out by critting Tanzanite, but I'm afraid they have little besides what they're showing us that doesn't suck.

Did you see what I did with Scarlet? The thread exploded xD They're working it out now though.

So as you see, GD is worser than it was when you left. It has beeeeeeen a lot fo time since someone interesting showed up. The same for promising games and plots. There is nothing to criticize or critiques to reply to. There are only noobs with weird game names and those boring no plot games using kyledove's tiles. This place is a bit dead =x, good times were these next to christmas where loads of games and discussions were posted all the time and you and delta used to criticize ALL of them xD. That didn't make me stop working on Uranium though, but still, this place is so boring now =o
