I know, it has the same layout as the Kanto from FR/LG, but it just doesn't feel like the same region with everything they took out of it. And I actually thought the music in the originals was better (and my brother thinks the HG/SS rival theme music in particular was much worse xD). And actually, in the new Pokemon games, I have to do the same thing with playing my own music, for the reason that a certain idiotic rodent gets its anime voice in the game - very stupid decision if you ask me.

Yes, exactly! And to be honest, I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if not for those statements - I would've been like "Okay, Leaf was champion for a while and then took off for another region, and they found someone else to take the spot she vacated, I can accept that." But since they outright credit everything to "a boy," that's when I took issue with the whole thing. I mean, just say it was "a kid," that way they wouldn't alienate everyone who played FR/LG as the girl. And really, the technology was there for the DS to read a FR/LG cartridge and place your character/team on that mountain, and why they didn't go with that idea will forever baffle me.

It was a great time - I even attempted a cosplay as Lisa this time, complete with a Meowth plush I carried around :P But, yeah, I remember all too well those days of late night studying and - well, they weren't really 15 page papers, but they were 15 pages worth of math problems and formulas where I had to show every step and write mathematical proofs. So they were like papers, except with more numbers, math symbols, and Greek letters lol. Those were a royal pain.

Well, at least it's only about a month off, and I'll still be here waiting to see the next chapter, unless some weird catastrophe happens lol. Sounds like a good plan, just let me know that you're still here xD

Same here - it'll be a long time before you get to read about Lisa ramming her million dollar motorhome into a stolen Greyhound bus along Interstate 85 :P As for Pokemon stuff, it's mostly been those new games I've been playing. And I'm enjoying dressing up my character more than I probably should (see my avatar). I can't get something that looks close to Lisa but what I've come up with is cute in her own way :)

Frankly, I thought the whole G/S/C/HG/SS postgame was disappointing too. Yeah, it's another region, but it's a bare-bones version of it and there's no plot or story motivating you to play through it, and it just feels like a chore. Not to mention that the biggest fraud in the Pokemon franchise is in the HG/SS postgame lol

Well, at least there's still Platinum (I still have my original game file on there too; last time I battled with Platinum was at an anime convention in April 2012.) I actually have two copies of Leaf Green so I can keep one and start over in another. I really don't feel motivated to play through any other Pokemon game it seems.

You've made more progress than I have as far as writing my story lol New games and everything. One writing piece I might have you look over soon, when I post it, would be my review for said new games. They're actually pretty good, which surprised me completely.

Oh yes, as a bit of trivia, I'm typing this from my room at the Quality Inn in Matthews, NC (don't go stalking me; I check out this morning lol) Even among Quality Inns, I think this one's a cut above. Really nice place.

As for the plot, I don't think I want to mention it given the recent violent incidents in Washington (but I think you could guess what their plot is from just me saying that). I'm leaning toward leaving them on the bus; the only two issues are (a) Lisa can't get all slam-happy on the Interstate (not that she should be doing so anyway with a $1.5 million vehicle) and (b) the terrorists need to have enough of a presence to keep any passengers from trying to play hero.

I figured as much lol. School has a way of doing that, since I've been there, done that, pulled the all-nighter study sessions, etc. Good luck and don't go crazy like I almost did lol

My writing is at a standstill due to lack of motivation. And one major plot hole in my one story - do the terrorists force the passengers off the bus or keep them on as hostages? If it's the latter, then Lisa will have to be less aggressive when trying to stop the bus with her own motorhome...

BTW, I want to have an artist draw another Lisa and Sadie pic. Can I get your permission to use her in the picture?

BTW, anime convention today. I'll be going dressed as Giovanni :P

I think May is the best coordinator. And Sapphire is a really good trainer. I dont see how Sapphire could be the daughter of Professor Birch. And May isnt.
