  • Yeah I didn't know how it'd work either. Their wedding was very simple and casual, though. They both wore a white dress, but not a typical wedding dress (though they had both been married before and people tend to be less extravagant if they ever get remarried). Like...just white sundresses, really. And it was a very small crowd of people. But how they did it was that all of us surrounded them while they stood in the middle and there was Jesus-y talk and they didn't even kiss, they just hugged, but it was so beautiful regardless. Then they sang a duet for everyone (they're both music teachers, I should add lol). They didn't have bridesmaids or anything...but you know? I don't really want a conventional wedding myself, so it's like...make it what y'all want to make it. If you want to both have a best man, have one! :) And I will so come if I have the money for it! lol
I actually got to go to a same-sex wedding back in May (in Georgia at that) for two of Jarrett's friends and that was really nice. I think they both kind of mutually decided on their engagement though? Not totally sure. Their rings match and it's precious. Their wedding was surprisingly very religious. But anyway yeah, I want a save the date even though I likely wouldn't be able to attend. :( lol
I always wonder that myself tbh. Like who proposes in same-sex couples? I would imagine the more dominant one (for lack of a better word?) or simply whoever is older since they're usually like...more worldly and experienced. But I could see him proposing to you rather than the other way around tbh, so just keep holding on. And send me all the details and pictures and save the dates and etc etc.
A controller position. But it can only be as stressful as the cop stuff I went for. :P

And wow! Still worth going back just to get some income when you're ready. I was offered a promotion at my old Fedex spot in SF. Manager offered me assistant manager to come back. Haha.
Currently I'm working a job, but applying for PDs and even air traffic control. Waiting to take a test for them here soon. :)

I bet, bud. And good. You really deserve a break, so take advantage of it. I'm familiar with toxic work environments though, so I know how relieving it can be to relax a bit. But I'm glad you got it.
    Never<3

I'm good, bud. Busy, but getting things going hopefully. Congrats on the RN! Well-earned. :) But how's everything else?
