  • LOOK AT MY SIG sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me~!
I didn't take personal offense to the verbal warning, I already said it was calling me out on 'mini-modding.' And I know I'm no different being a veteran member, which was the point of my previous comment...? I'm also not calling your authority into question. I have absolutely no idea where you're getting this from. All I questioned was this specific PC rule, I already agreed to report it and move on. I included the veteran member statement because you were the one who implied: "Maybe I'm too harsh on veteran members due to being more lax on the rules with newer members." So I'm not sure why you think I want to be treated differently. I understand what to do in the future, already.

No need to take it to PM, because I'm finished with this conversation. It's clear more misunderstandings and disagreements are going to occur, and I really don't want to leave with hard feelings. I didn't expect this to spiral downhill. So thanks for the little enlightening chat, I enjoyed it, and many apologies if you felt offended in any shape or form. o/
And like I said, I'll keep that in mind and report it the next time.

I don't agree with you making an example of out of me. I may be a veteran member, but I have been away from PC for many years, so while some things are the same, some things are different, including this. I seriously don't understand the difference between giving advice as a moderator and an "established" member, especially if nothing rude is being thrown about, but I'm going to move on from that topic.

As a final note, I personally believe if you really intend on calling me out on courtesy, I expect the same in return, veteran member or not.
Well it wasn't my fault either! D: At times like this, when no one's to blame, I usually pick someone random. :D

Usually I remember to wear clothes once I realize I'm outside and it's cold. :( Warm days, though...

Well it's because crazy people usually are pretty awesome. :) Unless they're straight-up wacko, but you can usually identify those people from a distance. :D

Well it's almost two years ago that I was. :c
I don't understand what you mean by 'truly' wanting to be helpful. Like I said, it doesn't matter to me whatever method of communication I chose. It isn't my 'job' to point it out but are there any rules against or is it simply an unspoken rule of etiquette?

You mentioned it being more courteous by PMing. Going by your logic, it would've been far more courteous of you to simply delete my post and PM me why, and I would've understood. The main qualm I have with this is calling me out on mini-modding (I really don't like that phrase), as well as telling me my post was unnecessary. That is fine, but that is also something you could have private messaged all the same.

Again, I really don't mean any disrespect. After I left PC, I've joined a lot of forums that work differently, so perhaps it was a slight error of judgment on my part. If so, then I apologize.
...and then we spoke once in February, and then... exactly a year ago. o___o Very sad indeed. :(

Pssssh, crazy people are awesome in my eyes. :D

Why do you say that? I was a mod... a long time ago. :(
Mini-modding...has such a negative connotation. I know the difference between trying to help and mini-modding. I honestly don't mean any disrespect, but you make it sound as if I'm out to act like a moderator. I'm not, I only wanted to help. It makes no difference whether I PM, VM or posted in that thread. Doing one or the other certainly doesn't make me more courteous.

However, because you are the moderator of that particular forum, I will keep that in mind next time I find myself about to "mini-mod."
I heard you're crazy-awesome from someone who told me not to give any names. ;) Plus, I wanted to start talking to you more for that PC Challenge thing that Patchisou posted in his blog. :DD

...and this is usually the point where I realize I'm a terrible conversationalist. :(
I posted it hoping the person would edit their first post introducing themselves, but they didn't. I don't believe it was totally unnecessary.
When did you last change? 7 days ago? There are 7 days in a week! You haven't changed in a week! I love you, filthy hobo<3
