Pokemon is satan cause evolution and magic, also that card with the alleged nazi symbolism.

OLM is probably just being cautious of the anime... You don't want another controversy that might ruin the brand after all. I also remember the whole PETA thing now that was hilarious.

Yup the word itself Yokai... is translated as spirit or demon. Remember all the fuss about pokemon promoting satanisim because of evolution. Imagine a series that has you befriending and battling with spirits / demons.

Them having sort attention spans is a little generalizing, but assumptions are based on fact after all. XD
Yokai watch exploded because of the slapstick and the merch. Yokai Watches and medals are all the rage a couple of years ago... it was all my young cousins could talk about while I was back there.

I find that some westerners base the "DEATH OF POKEMON" on news of the show beating pokemon in merch. With them not playing or watching the series at all. That mindset annoys the crap out of me.

It's fine if SuMo alienates you. It's natural... most people aren't used to the Iyashikei genre. But excluding the first episode the series has been rather subdued with the use of slapstick unlike yokai watch... which is more of a skit show XD

In the end who knows... maybe a new monster collection series explodes and becomes the new fad and would spell the "END" of both Yokai watch and Pokemon. Yokai watch's greatest failure was its inability of the series to be popular outside of japan. If a new series arrives that's both popular in japan and world wide. then we'd have a series that would rival Pokemon :D

We've gotten slapstick anime that predate Yo-Kai Watch, even American cartoons such as the infamous Teen Titans GO. I'm starting to feel concern of you, because you might becoming like the people who hate these games.
