I'll admit that was kind of clever. Wouldn't think to do something like that myself, but it is kinda nice to chronicle about one's fallen. And Tap at least had the diligence to leave immediately and train up two Pokémon when he lost two Pokémon in Victory Road in his past run, but that was before that game card went bust and he had to get a new one.

Also, if you check my Twitter you'll see that I'm doing something else on my own time that I won't be making a thread for. One that could prove to be something interesting.

Really, I think one of my bigger mistakes was going in against Hugh with five Pokémon. I should have added Morocco to the team and trained him up immediately after Italy died, because he could've made easy work of that Bouffalant and Serperior. I know that Tap said he has had awful experiences with White 2 back when he had past Personalocke runs (on Normal Mode, no less) before the run he's documenting right now. Like I said, you'll see how the end goes, and which replacements I went with before then.

So true... I played it four weeks ago and I was just in shock... And it didn't feel quite as bad at first, but as I said, it just felt worse and worse the more I thought about it. Again, Chuck, Clair, Cyrus, that stupid Ace Trainer (you know the one)... I just consider this ten times worse than all of those put together. It's sad, how easily I could have prevented all of this, had I just gone straight ahead and battled Hugh right away things surely would have gone different. And my being afraid to use Sludge Bomb because Overgrow made it hard for me to lean towards that.

And let's not forget, not helping at all was that Doctor. As if losing my own Clefable like that wasn't terrible enough, his spends over seven minutes torturing me with Minimize, Sing and Metronome. That felt like the biggest middle finger all game.

I will always like Hugh as a character, and I won't let this taint my thoughts on that at least, but battling him...yeah, no. That battle is one of the reasons why I think people should not underestimate this Victory Road. And Hugh telling poor Clark "hey, you gotta be prepared for the worst" probably does the viewers no favors.

But as I said in the thread, the only good thing is that the Pokémon that didn't die are the ones I was hoping to make it the most. And you did predict a few of the Pokémon I would consider but I won't say who they were. I'll say this right now - one of the other two Pokémon I used was one that most will think deserves more love...and the second was not. Also, you already know that I do win in the end (I did mention three weeks ago, on the 19th), but I won't say anything about the final fights yet.

In the meantime, I mentioned this in the Challenger's Clan, but I may just do something else to ease myself a little bit and just post about it there or tweet about it. I thought of doing a PersonaWedlocke on Alpha Sapphire or Heart Gold, since it looks like for Y (which I'll probably start playing before too long) people are leaning a little more towards the dice roll rules. I wouldn't make a thread for the former, but it would still be decent to do for a filler.

Yeah, on that note I didn't mention that another Azurilland user who's been a dear friend of mine, by the name of theDINOsaurus, she has a Black Nuzlocke (which is her favorite Pokémon game) where her starter was a female Oshawott. She's a big fan of Generation V as well but has apparently chosen Snivy a vast majority of her playthroughs.

Man, I don't want to write this next Black 2 update. I just don't. This is gonna be the hardest update I've ever had to make in any challenge I've done. If that doesn't tell you anything, well, the next part just sucks. ):

But in the meantime, did you check out Heyis4Horses' Grand Wrinkled Luvdisc Auto?!?! That's what I call it... If you don't know what I'm talking about, read his newest update. But then there's the Reflection Cave. Also, Tap (formerly Taprus) started a Wedlocke on Heart Gold not long ago as to put his White 2 production on suspension.

Very true. Sawk was one I used in Black, but even at that I would rather have had one of those than Bouffalant or Mienshao, even though the latter is really fast and would've been quite good. And as for HW (I'm still gonna refer to him as that for right now), true, Tepig is nice even if it isn't quite as easy to get up to speed.

And yay for a Breloom theme! I remember the one I had in Omega Ruby...
