Well, at least nowadays laptops are no longer a giant financial investment. Here in the US, you can get a good-enough laptop for about $350 or so. According to a currency converter I found, that's about 226 pounds.

That's true. Just did a bit of online Christmas shopping the other day. My girlfriend and I a set of matching promise rings. My mom a Sega Genesis with 4 Sonic games. She loves the classic style Sonic games.

Nope, I live in the United States.
And, work was pretty much the same as normal. I work at a gas station, where I do stock and clean up around the station.

Home from work now. I only work a couple hours a day, and the rain still hasn't stopped. :\
