You could always start learning! I self-taught myself how to read; it's not that hard honestly. The tough parts are the grammar, the vocabulary and the Kanji. There aren't very concrete rules to the grammar - that's what makes it such a challenging language to learn! Thanks! I do hope I will. c:

I wish I could have an opportunity to stay in Japan for a year like my friend. Becoming better at Japanese has always been one of my goals. I'm sure with a purely Japanese-speaking environment, that dream could just become a reality!
