Not really. :/ Why would you defend it if you're saying it produces probably the same results? It might motivate the less athletic people, but they could be missing out on some life lessons or even some close friendships. I know football has helped strengthen a lot of my old friendships, forged new friendships, and even made me despise certain people even more (only a few, for the most part I made new friends), but it was still worth it and I would have none of these if there was a tryout for football.
Oh, well a club that was created by a group of people makes sense to me. I know if I made a team I would pick friends that I thought would me, but hell I might as well allow anyone interested since it should be kinda like a brotherhood. That's one thing that I like about sports - any team even, for that matter - the brotherhood.
They got to have something. It guess without saying that say discuss problematic members and rules, but the DCC would not be a surprise. Seriously, I bet they spam the hell out of it too.
DCC? Would have never guessed. Well I'm hoping to donate sometimes this year, maybe next month. I got to do it without my parents knowing because they don't trust the internet at all, even though they fall for pretty much every scam on their facebook and hotmail. Yeah I know ironic but I at least know what's a scam and what isn't , so I've bailed them out several times.
Good question. I figure they actually have to go to college to get a degree, but maybe if their parents are geniuses they don't have too.
