This 100%. I have some friends who pay $30+ more for new games just to play it at midnight/without changing disc. Really don't get it. Also saddens me to think of a day when gaming goes solely digital and PS Store, Xbox Marketplace, eShop etc have a monopoly on pricing.

I generally find myself using soar most times as I only carry my three main Pokemon with me (Sceptile, Mightyena, Metagross) but if it's a short distance, say Mauville to Verdanturf (should walk but too lazy :p) I use fly if it's on hand.

Driftveil. Loved the music in both pairs of games, thought Clay was a top guy, and loved the Tournament to the South (haven't played in a while so I don't remember the exact name). Also love the port/market idea that reminds me of Slateport, my favourite Hoenn City.

I enjoyed them. I wasn't particularly a fan of the Ruby-Sapphire quest like vaporeon7 mentioned, but I liked the Team Rocket stuff on Island 5.

Kanto: By far Cinnabar Gym in Gen IV. I found it really neat being inside a cave. Johto: Cianwood Gym in Gen IV Hoenn: Mossdeep Gym in R/S. Sinnoh: Either Canalave Gym or Snowpoint Gym Unova: None other than Icirrus Gym.
