Sounds to me like a case of a bratty child who simply didn't get his way and saw an opportunity to make his father pay because of it, and took it. I don't see what it has to do with any technological addiction.

...She is a bloody moron, in my opinion. As has been said multiple times so far, what was the point? Did she make a difference by subjecting herself to abuse? It's pointless, and I'm actually a little shocked that this was legal in the first place. It's also disturbing that anyone THOUGHT of this.

Ha, yeah. Skyrim obsessesion has led me to read pretty much any fanfic I spot about the game, and yours is one of the best I've seen so far. And really, you handwrite? I do that too! It's nice, but does get stuff done a lot slower, which is a major downside.
