..........People don't determine the strengths of their own attacks, including critical hits. I'm going to give this one to you, but if we battle again, it needs to be worked out a hell of a lot better. :P

Oi, cool it with the double moves. It doesn't matter all too much, because Sheldon would have been asleep anyway, but ya can't go pairing up moves one after the other. --And Dream Eater only restores a portion of the damage inflicted, not all of it. :P

...........BASICALLY, we're trying to be fair one another. Stuff can miss or not work every now and then, but we shouldn't be always hitting or always missing.

We're about evenly matched. I have ONE level on you, but that isn't much. You have the advantage of status changing moves, I have a tiny advantage of moves that do damage and change status. The odds are in your favor, but whoever wins, will just BARELY win.

Ayup! Kay, Baloth's magical rule for status effect moves; we flip a coin to decide if they do their thing. Heads they work, tails they don't.

Example being if I get Sheldon to hit ya with an Ice Beam. Flip a coin. Heads, Shadow gets frozen (and takes damage), tails, he just takes damage.

You get Shadow to use Hypnosis. Coin flip! Heads=Zzzzz, Tails=Miss.

You get the idea! **As our pokemon are both lvl 20ish, I think 3 or 4 good hits is the most either could take.

What dorm is your character in? My character, Wyatt, is in Suicune, and he's having a snooze with his Pokemon. You could go talk to him, and maybe battle, if you like.

Also, the OOC section has lots of useful info--rules, lists of wild pokemon you can encounter in the different areas of the island, and a bunch of other stuff.

It's like my second or third day on this forum, so I'm sure any of the other RPers, or the 2 DMs can help you a whole lot more than I can!

...Oh yeah! And the maximum age for students in the Pokemon Trainer Academy RP is 15, I believe.

First of all, you should move your sign up to the OOC (out of character) thread for The Pokemon Academy, here http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=261389 And second, the level for the INITIAL Pokemon belonging to STUDENTS cannot exceed level 25; both of your Pokemon exceed lvl 25.

The IC thread is limited to IN CHARACTER posts; for when your character has been approved and you are officially a part of the roleplay. (If you have something important to say within the IC portion, THEN you should be putting a SHORT message within brackets, prefacing it with "OOC;".)

No biggie, though! Just delete that post in the IC thread (if you can? Idk, I'm pretty new here), or edit it and chop it down, and post your SU sheet in the OOC section
