How about make it a bit of both? Mike can battle the Monferno and the Luxray, while Adrian's Larvesta takes on the Scizor.

Alright, so what's the general plot here?

Adrian's replying to Tetra while thinking very heavily on his own Pokémon, as she brings up all of those memories of them. In the meanwhile, she manages to badly burn one of Ice's arms as he hits her with a Fury Cutter.

Hey Fyr, CF doesn't appear to be doing anything, but he told me that he would like you to post a response on PTA. I as waiting for him to tell you, but I think he left and just forgot to sign off.

Oh, and the Gardevoir can also read his mind (which he has open) and see what exactly went down to give him this condition, and everything that happened after that. In short, he's had it very rough because of it.

Reading his mind might prove difficult or strange to the Gardevoir at first, simply because of what he is.

First off, might as well get things started. It's kind of obvious that Supernova is going one-on-one with another one of Yew's Pokémon. Could be Ice that steps in and challenges the Larvesta.

Aright, got the post up. Sorry it took this long. I had crashed for the night and didn't get it till later. I wasn't sure how Adrian would react to the situation, and I had to choose his movements carefully.

Just a note: I know for sure that Superman the Gastly is going to evolve during training. However, Larvesta may as well. It's a small possibility, as she's definitely going to get worked the hardest, simply to keep ahead of the rest of the group.

Even though she's timid, she knows she's fairly strong, and wants to remain that way out of fear of what might happen if Frostbite and Superman are able to get the jump on her.

Awesome. Read up on it a bit. He may know of Adrian's current condition, and why he uses his cane. In spite, he's a hard person to actually get close to.

Sorry about that! Me and pokefan were doing a joint post, and my character tends to have a bad habit of ignoring people who are trying to interrupt something he's focusing on. :P
