Yeah sort of.. basically like.. OK I'll just be direct with it.
My fic takes place right after the third game. Like.. it starts off with the end-of-game dialogue of them going to meet up at tres bien, only they don't end up going to tres bien.
The fic is basically about Miles and Phoenix pretty much over time realizing that, yeah, they've always been friends and they've always stood up for each other. Like things happen to them in that week before Miles leaves for Europe to make them remember how close they were when they were kids. They become close again. Then they struggle because miles has to leave for europe, but when they come back things start to get better.. until Miles realizes he can't help Nick with the case that leads to his disbarment and their friendship basically falls to pieces.. and it's why like Nick pretty much hits rock bottom in the 4th game and like.. isn't entirely himself anymore.

My problem is like.. I know how I'm going to get them to rekindle their friendship (plot devices that force them to meet up) but the problem is.. when. Will it go too fast since I only have a week? :/ It's somewhat complicated.

Basically I'm writing an Ace Attorney fic, yes? But I'm weaving it into the actual timeline of the official game (been reading up on the wiki).. I was inspired by a stupid prompt but I'm really liking the idea and I want to turn it into something pretty intense. Basically, though.. I'm having some plot problems I want to flesh out before I continue (I wrote the first chapter)
My plot problems isn't really about like.. what I want to happen. I basically know what I want, but rather.. making them happen for a reason within a certain timeframe. Basically, what plot points should go first or.. stuff like "should this happen this day or the next day?" I want stuff to happen without it being forced.

Should I make a thread about it? Do you have any tips? Do you need more info/ don't really understand what I'm getting at?

BTW Impo have you ever written a long fic before? I have somewhat of a question.. dunno if I should make a thread for it..
