This sounds like an interesting idea. Will the aim be just the "badge and e4" quest, or will you just be out to stop team Blizzard? Also, I originally wanted Growlithe to be a starter, but since it only has 2 evos, I'd go for magby.

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. If it weren't for all the FE ROMs I've been using recently, I wouldn't be very interested. Another fun thing is that I get to make my own sprites and battle animations, unlike in Pokemon, where you can only make sprites (unless there's been a way to edit animations)

That's good to hear. I'm on a little vacation myself, and I need to relearn some scripting. I've also been planning to start doing Fire Emblem hacking. That'll take a lot of HEX knowledge, so it would be good experience I guess.
