well, I've gotta go to school, but basically:

Cannot tackle above the shoulders.
Cannot run more than 15 metres without bouncing the ball.
The ball must travel 15 metres to be classed as a mark.
Cannot push people in the back (In a marking contest -- but you can push people in the side when going for the ball/leading etc.

Those are the basics, but I'm in a rush to get to school. Speak to you sometime. (btw, I'm going to sydney on Friday to watch the footy. ;))

Ok, you need to tell me what you really want. It depends on what track as to how much you drift, and whether or not you use a kart or bike. For instance, on the Boo stage, using a kart is better because they get a faster drift, hence the course ghosts use karts. But, for longer courses (my favourite being Delfino Square) I would go bikes, because the corners are tighter and need a tight turning circle. (Experiment with the different bikes. Bikes like the Mach bike have a very tight turning circle, but the Wario bike has a wide turning circle like karts.

Bikes are far better. I like using Diddy with the Mach Bike, it pwns stuff bad. :P

Use the Nunchuck, the wheel is hopeless when it comes to good times, and always use manual. Automatic doesn't give you good drift at all.
