    That'd be a good idea. If the game detects a specific map/bank, which could be defined somehow, then it'd change the song. I could get a prewritten ASM routine, and all I'd have to do is change what song loads and compile the code and insert it.

    True. What I want to do is implement a special trainer battle music for a PWT. Since Pokemon GBA games can choose items at random, I'd make it choose from a list of trainers, and there'd be a variety of trainer IDs, so checking for a trainer ID would make it hard.

    Could it be implemented as a level script for a specific map?

    Seeing as you know tons more than I do about GBA hacking, I must ask. Do you know of a script that enables one to temporarily override a battle theme without actually changing it? I'm planning out a GBA hack, and I'd make heavy use of that kind of script in a specific location, especially that the trainer battle theme would be kinda awkward there.

    Example: Having a battle play, say, Pewter City's theme instead of a Trainer battle theme, but after the script ends, and you get into another trainer battle, it plays the trainer battle theme.

    I would think that I could make it call ASM and change the value of the song that is played within the ram, so when it's called it will play a different song, but I'm not sure of the limitations of doing such a thing or what restrictions I would have.
    I found a list of all of the trainer classes online, counted backwards with it, and the first class is 0x2. I hope they didn't skip a class.
    Hello! I've been working on my hack, and I've been spending countless hours trying to have certain trainers be suited with their own battle music. I tried Mastermind_X's thing, but that caused the palettes in the game to mess up and the game would freeze when going into a wild battle or a trainer battle. I put it in exactly as it said to and even tried copying and pasting from Shiny Gold, and that still gave the same results. I heard you have a routine that allows each trainer class to have their own music. I'd appreciate it if you could send it to me.

    Hey Jambo, I have a question concerning my hack that I'm sure you'll be able to help me with. Can you tell me how to repoint the sprite image on the trainer card? You see, in my hack "Pokemon Dark Rising" the hero's sprite is messed up and as a result, it affects his trainer card from being viewed & freezes the rom. The heroine's work fine. If you can, I'd like for you to PM me back on how I can repoint the hero's trainer sprite to another sprite in the hack. Thank You.
    Hi there, I saw your tutorial about flight spots for FireRed and couldn't figure out how to do it, even following the directions. I've never been good with hex. I was wondering if I could send you a copy of my hack project and get you to insert a single flight spot for my new town?     Hello there I've got a question can you point out how to make the sprite in the Trainer card if your male change permanently through hex editing, for example the hero sprite is #135 how can I make the trainer card appear sprite #1 for example I would really appreciate if you could help me... :)
    Hey... so i've been trying to figure out how to extend just the kanto dex. And the offsets you've posted work in extending it, except the stone evolutions don't work, even with the 'evolve without the national dex' edit. Is there something i'm missing? some limiter maybe? I know you successfully extended yours, so i figured i'd ask u directly instead of posting in the simple questions thread again :P
    So are you one of the main people behind Liquid Crystal? Currently looking at this and Pokémon: Phoenix Rising and waiting to see which will be done first so I can jump on the first official full-release playthrough...I might be venturing into the Let's Play circuit for the first time on one of these hacks. Would like to do both, as well as create images of world maps, etc. It doesn't make sense to do it on a beta for obvious reasons (as far as mapping goes, a screenshot can change), I only do a complete "catch 'em all" when I play at all.
    oh, lq, already playing it, again, because of the newer version, oh, btw, any suggestions, since my last team was, typhlosion, espeon, salamence, manectric, from what i can rembember, since they were the ones i used the most, so, i want to know, if i stick with them, or make some changes (ex: replace espeon by jolteon), or add other pokemon, to have a more complete team, do you know if there ar any hoenn starters yet in the current version?

    Hey Jambo! I have a question regarding a post you made on the Day/Night system a while ago. You posted some ASM in order to evolve eevee to umbreon/espeon, and so I tried it out. The problem is that when I used rare candies, it took till level 74 to evolve the pokemon. I was wondering if you could help me with the ASM so it evolves earlier, like lv 30-40. I do not have much experience with ASM so I would be extremely grateful :)
