And just FTR, that Ledyba was the original; I didn't need to keep one, so I gave it my only Magmarizer and cloned it thrice; I took the other three, got rid of the clones (which were invisible shadows as I hadn't left the PC box, you have to return to the box to see the cloned Pokémon), and left the one there holding the Magmarizer. So you could say that was an original Magmarizer as well. :)

It should be noted that some people do not like to accept clones, so you will need to be careful to note when you clone. I mentioned I could clone an item for someone and that person was no longer interested. I replied saying it's unreasonable to think someone would give up their only instance of the item for the purposes of someone else, and that my reason for cloning items - all of which I find legitimately in the first place - is specifically to help other Trainers. I don't recall whether that trade took place. ;)

You have to have an Action Replay to clone. For instance, see here and look down the page for one that uses Select instead (that's how I do it in Black, my SS one uses R since that doesn't change boxes in that game). Enter that set of lines in your Action Replay when loading (or put it in the computer software and then commit it to the AR device connected to the computer, see instructions for the device for that) and you're good to start cloning. :)
