I think it's been 10 months at least since I've been on here, judging by the message you left on my wall that I never saw. Just wanted to say thanks for conversing with me, even if I was unresponsive. :)

I'm still technically a member here and might get more involved again at some point, but I kind of decided a while ago that I should limit my interaction. I wasn't caught up in the episodes, and found that either I was spending too much time searching for something to say on this forum, or relying too much on interaction with other users. I'd check twice a day just to make sure I was never out of the loop. At one point a user even sent me a rather harsh PM due to a misunderstanding. At first I was really stung, but then I just kinda thought, "I don't know you. You don't know me. No one in 'real life' has EVER spoken to me like that. Why the heck am I putting up with this?" Maybe I should have left then but I stuck around for a little longer, then drifted away.

Gosh, sorry for being a bit melodramatic. Just trying to explain my absence, and that it wasn't because of disdain for kinder members like you and others on the Shipping Thread (who maybe weren't "kind" but were plenty fun), and that I hope all is well.

I've also gotten wrapped up in other fandoms, honestly. I truly love Pokemon still but it's pace feels slower and, after all these years, redundant at times. :/ I'll watch more in the summer.

I'm not sure anymore what the subjects were that you asked about (that I was taking in school, occupying all my time). I've been heavily involved- particularly this semester- in huge creative projects that I hope have a good result, but are otherwise time consuming. They're very cool endeavors, but leave me in a constant state of hitting the ground running. Hopefully that will calm down soon- in April, it will be over, and in May, it will all be over, for now.


So... I guess I'm just saying hey. :]

How is it the bane of Pokemon Anime existence? It prevents the forum from being cluttered with questions. It's going to get reworked regardless, so if you have a better suggestion I am all ears.

It was fantastic, though we only went into two of the colleges though, I'm sure you know what I mean by colleges right? We went into the Magdalene campus, and the little "village" a lot of the students in. We also went Punting, which was freezing, seriously, I couldn't feel my feet, the water surface was half frozen. xD;

I picked my options last week too, which I'll be allowed to change as long as it's early within the starting year. But yeah - I picked Media Studies, Psychology, History, English Lang & Lit and Welsh Baccalaureate. I couldn't pick Biology due to it clashing with time slots of the stuff I picked, but I'm most likely going to change Media Studies or Welsh Baccalaureate for Biology anyway.

Have you like, done any work at all?

Ah, my History teacher went to Swansea University, she really liked it there. I don't have a welsh accent, I'm actually from/born in London, so I have this sort of presumably posh accent from my parents, although I have some welsh heritage from my mothers side.

I actually went on a overnight school trip to Cambridge University last week, which was fantastic, before it I honestly had no clue what I wanted to do after sixth form.

I think Vernikova mentioned that to me, I looked it up, but yeah - I don't like the idea of being so far away from home, the idea of going back and forth to see relatives is just crazy to me, and a lot of people we talked to at Cambridge did so. :x

Not yet, but I'm pretty sure we'll be doing so very soon. I'm going to do Psychology, I've talked to a few of the teachers doing it and decided to go for it. I'm also going to do English Language and Literature. I'm stuck between my other 2 choices. It's between History, Media and a Science. I'm not too keen on a science, but I've thought about doing Psychology at Cardiff University, and it's easier to get in if you've done a Biology, Chemisty, Physics or Math A level.

Well I hope to remain active, so you won't be vming this to someone else in a couple more months. Hopefully we can get this section rolling instead of the stagnant state it has been in for awhile.

Did you by any chance do Psychology for A Levels? Did you like it?
