If I had the option of an alternative, I certainly would have taken it I think, considering how unrecognized the standard is outside New Zealand.

I haven't decided on which branch of medicine to specialise in yet, but being a doctor does certainly seem like a stressful non-stop job. I wouldn't mind that I don't think (I like being kept on my toes), hopefully I'll be able to make my mind up when applying for the degree next year.

I have to agree, Clannad is probably the only show I've seen so far where I've felt that everything fits together.

Oh, I did mean exams for each subject. The educational system here is just really strange, not to mention the marking methods for the exams... o.o

Well I suppose if you can deal with it, it'll be alright. I would think that it would be your own decision once you move out, but I can understand not wanting to hurt your parents feelings or go against their will. Is it usually part of Vietnamese culture to have the parents choose the child's job? Or is that just your family's way of doing things?

Ugh, I know. I really should put all the blame on my younger self. So selfishly focusing on my own needs and wants while ignoring what all else is wrong with the world. Not even once considering all that my parents have done for me. Well, that may be going to far, but I think I used to be pretty much like that. I kinda wish I had an older brother or sister to encourage me the way I try to encourage my brother now. I see the way my brother values my opinion, and I only wish I had a role model like that for me back then. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to make do with what I have. I think maybe learning a second language might help my self-esteem, if only a little bit. Maybe make me feel a bit more special. The people I know speak all kinds of second languages, like Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, etc, etc. I always felt really jealous about that. :3

Ah, well I finished my exams today.Tommorrow we're doing practically nothing, and I have an early dentist appointment, so I don't have to go. Only problem is, I have to go to bed at the same time tonight if I want enough sleep to get ready for the dentist tommorrow. @_@ Anyway, I hope you do well on your Math test, get into your Mock Trial team, and when January comes, do well on your exams. At least better than I did, I have a feeling I failed my Science exams. ^^: Okay, maybe not that severe, but science is not a good subject with me. Luckily, I found the History test fairly easy, and I think I passed Math and History. Doesn't matter anymore, I'm just glad they're out of the way. :D

I think I'm going to go finish up on chores now. I might be back later, if I can convince my parents to let me stay up at least a little bit later. See you later Jordan~
