I always caught it, but didn't realize it was shiny until I learned about shinies around Gen IV. I don't think that I used it much, even though I always picked Cyndaquil. :3
Ahhh the good old days of MissingNo. and the Old Man. Brings back so many memories.
Used: MissingNo glitch
Duped: Master Balls, Full Restores, Rare Candies (I was young and didn't know they were bad xD )
This was in Gen I. In Gen II, I used the switch box and turn off before saving is complete...
Oh hey, here's a completely ridiculous idea: Why not just release Gen I on the 3DS Virtual Console. Anyone?!
And I agree with some of you, but disagree with others.
Being a nostalgianerd, I would love to see them "Remade." What I would actually want to see is a port more than a remake. I get...
That Miltank still haunts my dreams. I remember rage-quitting on Halloween one year because it just Roll-out'd EVERYTHING.
*Cue Ludacris song* ROLLOUT!
Oooo I like this. It makes sense from what I've seen.
My only fear is that when Giovanni comes back, it'll be because "Ohhhh, I'm good now ^-^." ):
Btw, I'm back now, :D. I'll usually be around, chillin' in Metal/Color Gen forum :D
Same here! I haven't been buying any games lately (saving for a new gaming PC).
I have most of the main gen games, in English. I have Gold in Japanese, and I plan on getting one of each copy all the main series games in each English/Japanese, possibly moving on to European versions afterwards.
It's a pretty quick fix, and there's not much to mess up. Just make sure you don't cut or damage the circuit board, which when you open it it up, you should see this isn't easy to do lol.
The GB Transferrer II, but I emailed the (only?) seller of them, and they never emailed me back, so idk...
I know the GameStop I go still sells them unless they stopped in the last year. They take up little to no space in the store (all the ones at mine are inside the counter, with a window to let you see them) so I don't see why they would ever stop selling them.
And yes, I'm sure there are...
Yeah, that one's a fake, unfortunately.
A little known fact: There is a HUGE market for fake pokemon games. Most of them are sold on eBay, though I've seen others elsewhere. A lot, a lot, a LOT of Gen III fakes. Only buy Pokemon games from GameStop or other used game store, or a retailer...
Oh no, I completely understand why you would want to keep order, but I don't think that mentioning 3rd Gen games should warrant a locked thread, and I've seen a couple instances in different forums of this kinda thing happening. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, just some observations...
Yes, this looks like FireRed.
Try Lunar IPS (LIPS). Oh, and make sure you're using the (U) Version of the ROM. And if that doesn't work, try the (E) version.
Pretty sure you can at least transfer to Gen II though, right? Time Machine thing? It probably won't help you, but it's useful if you're transferring pokemon to change the battery in the cartridge, then trade back.
I got the right battery for $0.99 USD on eBay. I heard you can get them from WalGreens or similar stores though, but I'm an introvert. I'd much rather do my shopping online than look stupid in a store not knowing what to get xD
But yeah, CR2025 for $0.99 from an eBay user named cavegamers...
