How do you catch shiny pokemon in hg/ss?

Well, I took the original frames of the Ho-oh you see on top of the tower (from the Spriters Resource) and recolored it to be shiny form. Then I just animated it. :)

Aha, ya, chaining isn't for everyone. But once my site is done, it should help you :)

Oh and thank you very much. I had made one like that a while ago but I had to fix it up so I could add all my shinies :P I keep on looking at it and noticing I'm missing a few shinies. I'm positive I had a shiny Starly and Bidoof... I'll have to double check my Pokemon Ranch to make sure :D

Ah I see. Um, I think once I get shiny Ho-oh I'll do some chaining for a bit. Then I'll go for shiny Shroomish with the Masuada method :)

Ah pretty good thanks :) I am currently at 1600 resets. It's much more frustrating then I thought though :/ And I keep seeing people saying they 30k+ SRs and it kinda depresses me :P Once I get this Ho-oh, I'll stick to getting shinies with the Pokeradar and Masuada Method :)
