I couldn't agree more with Flushed. Metagame is always there, a neverending way of playing. Also shiny hunting, dex completition or breeding. X/Y does not have the best "after-game" events, but if you want it, you can have lots of fun. :)

I think the GTS is perfect as it is in X and Y. Why? Because they gave us the option to get rid of stupid offers such as Shiny Ditto x Lv. 9 Zekrom. We can now choose to search or not for people looking for a Legendary Pokémon. And we also have this new feature to show only Pokémon we have...

I think it depends on the kind of player your are. Some of us like to go for "challenging" things, like shiny hunting, dex completition or try to beat the battle maison. Everyone of us would like more things to do after de E4, but sadly this is not HG/SS. :c
