  • I posted my hack (FireRed 2.0) for the second time after fixing the mistakes. Then i waitd for 24+ hours but saw that it was not yet posted even though quite a few new ones have been. Could you please look into it and inform me why it hasn't been posted or why it was rejected (if it has been).

    There are 2 new ones that you didn't add (since I didn't do them at the time lol)
    They are map Name evolve and Map evolve.
    map name just uses the format XX 00, XX being the map name.
    Map uses YY ZZ, YY being bank and ZZ being map.

    Well, I haven't tried the battle bg expansion for a while. I haven't been busy editing Hex and ASM for a while. It is kinda bit 50-50 to work. Don't worry. I'll get to try this after I edit the sprites to confirm that your expansion thing is working. I will post you screenshots too for the expansion thing. So, I need more screens of actual gameplay? Alright then! I'm now working on the players' and professor's sprites so I didn't make any screenshots for the walking around, talking and stuff. It is good to know. I mean it. :)

    Is it possible to expand the Kanto Dex to 257+? I just made the maximum limit in my hack to have 256 Pokemon in game. If possible, reply me again dude. :)
    Okay, I've found them, the arrow and the battle textbox. I've clearly done with the text box. But, when I was working for the battle textbox, then used NSE to import and repoint everything related to the textbox, the game glitches everything. Well, I have backups so this doesn't make any threat to me.

    Well, I tried your expansion things about battle backgrounds. To view the 21th background, should I set the Var 0x40F7 0x20 in the map script on A-Map? Am I right?

    Ahh... I see. I'll try later since I'm currently working on editing midi-s. Well, I've been trying to edit the battle textbox. I searched it and can't find it. It is possible to be in UnLZ too, isn't it?
    Hey! I've finally noticed the victory theme hack on Chaos Rush's Dark Violet... he changed the victory themes of classes involving Team Rocket... but he doesn't seem to be replying... :/

    Oh, I want to ask one thing: How to edit the "arrow" part at the bottom of the Poke-Ball mini symbol during a trainer battle? I tried VBA to look for the hex values of it but I can't find it while in hex editing. Any ideas dude?

    Yep. But there haven't posted the tutorial for editing victory themes for trainers. I think someone already did it on his/her gba hacked/edited game.
    I can't post screenshots because i don't have 15 posts yet. So i put it in the attachments but the attachments only require 5 uploads. I guess i have to post up to 15 post to get screenshots

    Yep sorry it is a table, Pallet Town is the first pointer, Viridian is the second pointer ect. They point to the text of the name.

    But Pallet Town should not reference 0x0 in the argument. It should start at 0x58 and end with Celadon Dpt. at 0xC4. Does that make a littl more sense?
