  • Hey bro, sorry for bothering again but have three little questions, if I'm inserting, for example, tiles of zeo in the tileset 0 of the ROM, you know they have different palettes than the original fr ones, do I need to insert every single palette of the new tileset (for example palette 0, then palette 1...) or if I insert one palette the others get inserted automatically? and the other is, if a player has for example an unknown level Pikachu (because we can't know the level of the player's pokemon), and I create a script where that pikachu isn't in the player's team (with a removepokemon or another command that I don't know), How can I give that same Pikachu to the player with the same level, object or whatever it had in the past before I remove it from the player's team? and the last one is, how can I add frames to an OW? for example Brock's OW, doesn't have frames to walk, how can I add that frames to to the OW? (hope I explained it well and you understand what I mean in every question)

    Oh I forgot to tell you, yes, I expanded my ROM, Why? Is that problematic or causes any unwanted effect? Also I think you're right, I'll use one table of 255 to everything, 100 for people and the rest leave it to Pokemon OWs (32x32) as you said, and also I'm not going to insert ALL the sprites of HG and SS, but, since I don't like the Fire Red Pokemon OWs, I'll replace them so I can use that space for Murkrow, Aipom, Togepi... And the others, and replace the FR style legendaries with the HG SS style ones. Also if you think the expanded ROM is problematic, tell me and I'll send you a new one with the base I'm using and the JPAN engine (because I forgot to patch it in the ROM I sent to you).

    Hey bro! I was creating the list of OWs and I thought: what about create two new OW tables of 255 OWs each one, so I can use one for Pokemon OWs only and the other for people OWs, that way I'll have all the OWs I'll need to create the complete Gold Chapter and Heart Gold Soul Silver Chapter (probably), but there's still a doubt because of the GREAT number of OWs, how much space will it need? Is it worthy to sacrifice that space or I should slightly reduce the size?
    Ok, I need the biggest number (I think is 255) that's too much, I know, but I need to insert so many pokemon OWs (legendary pokemons, pokedex holders teams...) and also the pokedex holders, and other sprites that I'll use for bonus chapters, also for the resize, I'll replace all pokemon OWs that are in fr style (like pidgey, nidoran and all the others), but continuing with the table, I know I'll use all the 255 OWs, but don't have the exact count of how many 16x16, 16x32 and the other types I need, I'll make a list and then I'll tell you (as soon as I can), and really, really thanks for the favor you're doing, it means a lot, thank you.

    It only has the ROM base I'm using (MrDollsteak Attack and Decap ROM base v1.5a), the Gold's OW inserted. If you need the new OWs I'm going to insert or something just tell me.
    Also want to ask you a favor... I know it''s a big one and that you're busy but, can you create a new OW table in the ROM for me? it's because I need it but still don't know how to create one with the JPAN engine, the OW Manager should do it but when I used JPAN's patch the OWM didn't recognized the ROM... kimonas (the creator of the OWM) told it's because the specified offset for the table was bad, but I don't know where is the table located when I use the patch... I know it's annoying but of course you're not obliged to do it, if you are going to do it or not please tell me, really thanks in advance. Also saw the new updates for the yellow Chapter and it seems great! :D, glad to see that the hack is going very well.
    Hey c06, sorry but I have a trouble using NSE 1.7.5, when I resize a sprite and import another one it's ok, but when I import another frame the last one get damaged, do I have to redraw the whole sprite?

    Yeah, that sounds good, only have to search for something that allows me to put the apricorn as a price and then (in rhe future) put an ASM routine or something (like the berry system) to do the apeicorns reappear in the tree. Also thanks for showing me the tutorials, I'm planning to release the Alpha when I finish with crystal OWs, Falkner maybe and some pokemon OWs and then make the scripts to cover New Bark Town (to Buzzing Elekid chapter). Also, do I have to search the offset of the original OW table of the game to show it in NSE? (I want to Resize some sprites that I'm not going to use, but don't find the OWs of the game, only the sprites of the intro, the surfing thing, exclamations, grass and flowers animations and some other things but not the OW table or index)

    EDIT: Sorry I'm forgoting too many things today, the other thing is that I tryed to edit the sprite of professor Oak (in the intro) but it was really bad, the transparent color doesn't work, and want to ask, what's the size of the sprite that I have to insert? How to do it well? Should it be in 256 colors format or 16 colors (last time I did ot was in 256 colors)? Also the same for the hero's gender selection sprite.

    It's Pokemon Ash's chapter and when I was reading the thread I saw that it has the apricorn system and that you were the scripter in the hack! So I thoug that you can tell me how to insert that system in the Gold chapter (if it's ASM or sonething), Also, want to know how to erase the gender un Pokemon Fire Red, because I was searching for a tool called: OneBoy but I didn't find it, and the only tool that I founded was the "KillGender" but that only works in Pokemon Ruby. Thanks in advance.
    Ok, I saw it and think they're good :D, and... Now I have another question... Sorry for annoying so much, but I forgot it in the last message, how can I put for example, a Rocket member in a map and want it to look invisible until I put the show sprite in the script? (Sorry I don't know how to explain it Well...)

    Thanks, now I'm planning to change the exclamation, smilies and that stuff, and two things to ask, since the Blue surfing thing's palette is damaged and my Overworld doesn't have any Blue, what should I do? (The only Idea that I have is to put it in grey) and the other question is, how can I expand the tileset to have more space?
