GMs here seem to do things differently all the time, the one thing worth thinking about though is how many people you want in the RP - I tend to go for huge RPs because I don't know many of the players and I worry that if I left it to 4/5 it would become inactive >< but some RPs do really well with just a couple of people - especially if you know them from previous RPs. Saying that, I'm nowhere near the expert :P.

Other than that just make sure you provide lots of information and care about the world that you make up! You seem to be doing great so far.

I would certainly be interested (more that I already am) in the RP you're planning if you were to create a steampunk setting. The mesh of steam-based technology and Pokémon cause it would be epic :3 Heck, I love the steampunk so much, my favorites bar is filled with steampunk tumblrs and the like :p

I would even use either THIS image or THIS one when making my character's appearance xD

I'm sure Imito at least knows of Cyrus, considering he is the prince of the region. Whether or not they know each other, that is less likely, since Imito mostly lived and, as a knight, worked the outside edges of the realm, and has never been in the palace.

It definitely is better late than never, haha. I think that Rosemary would be somewhat familiar and possibly could have met Cyrus beforehand since he's royalty and whatnot. If you want them to have more of a history than just being familiar with each other, I'm all for it. They maybe could have run into each other a couple of times? Though if you'd rather they be strangers, I'm fine with that too, really.
