It depends... Shamrocks mostly have four leaves unless they have a genetic mutation or someone pick a leaf off. Clovers have three leaves usually and the same rules apply as above so the clover can have four leaves if it under goes a genetic mutation ONLY. Clovers and Shamrocks are very similar, but are different species. Did you know that St. Patricks day is a religious holiday in Ireland?
