That's sad. I've been sick too, with fever and all for the last four days.

I don't even want to go into what I found in my inbox.

Pretty much! Our family's a bit separated right now. My parents, little brother, and one of my stepbrothers live in Wisconsin. The other stepbrother and his family lives in Nebraska, where we're having the get-together. (So do my stepdad's mom and brother.) My sister and I live in Kansas. It's a little hard to have everyone under the same roof at once, as you can tell. It'll be the only time this year, I'm sure, barring unusual (and most likely unwelcome) circumstances.

You were sick? That's sad. But you're okay now, so that's good.

It was very boring. For some reason, depression got a hold of me again because of me being pretty much alone this day.
Yeah, if I'm visiting PC on my birthday and checking my inbox for mails, you can guess that it has been boring.

Nothing wrong with that. :p

The thing is, all of the immediate family plus an uncle and a grandma are meeting up in another city entirely. The earliest anyone could arrange this was after Christmas. I know I prefer it that way -- the way work has been this year, I wouldn't have gotten the time off if it had been in December.

That's a lot of expensive stuff. :p Makes me a little jealous sometimes, which is silly, but I digress.

Weird. Christmas didn't feel like Christmas. Then again, it didn't snow and I didn't hang out with family this year, nor did I have any presents to unwrap that day... my family has their Christmas get-together on January 9th. :p

I've been doing pretty good lately, just playing with the stuff I got for christmas ^^

Aha, don't worry about it, I have loads of stuff to eat, extra birthday cake being one of them. You've given me an excuse to eat it now, thank you. XDD
