Second one, it depends Time and Darkness are the same as far as the storyline goes, but the pokemon you can get are different. If you get Time, you can get celebi, and if you get Darkness you can get Mewtwo. Also in time you can get Lucario, but in darkness you can get a riolu through wondermail xD

All i can say for your little torchic is basically these 3 tips

1. Patience
2. Protein and Carbos ( or whatever raises speed )
3. To get lots of money vs that old couple just before the mansion, WITH the amulet coin and they should give you 24000 bucks everytime you beat them ( with the amulet coin )

That happened to me not long ago, when i was EVing my TOTALLY BRAND NEW hatched eevee ( my now current lv 100 Vaporeon ) and my game froze, so i was smashing my ds and i realized the game popped out of it's slot xD

Wow. Ok *coughnotwireless* Tell your parents they are naughty xD!. Haha mine has...NONE woot. Yea it isn't wireless so no wonder Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. I had to beg my parents to get a wireless in order to connect to Wi-Fi and eventually they did.

Well. Sometimes Wi-Fi is just annoying and doesn't connect. That or your parents lied to you :O they would never do that. Does the router have a cord running out the back of it? If it does then it isn't wireless, if it doesn't it is wireless.
